Unimpressive prongs?
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isnt me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like hes me. Look down, back up, where are you? Youre in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. Whats in your hand, back at me. I have it, its an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. Im on a quorl.

Spoon is clearly willing, it's clearly the more reliable and friendly instrument.

Fork and spoon are in fact 6-9ing... but in shock news, being forgetful is lagging badly behind.

I remember! A fork is better for piercing rats! Definitely a fork.

Common sense says "spoon"
This poll may be the most ridiculous yet...

My friend, you've hit the nail right on the head. Now ask yourself, what was the point of its creation.

Naivety, Apt, naivety.
Wheels within wheels. I would ask you to think complexity theory but in truth its rather simple, I'll mention the words 'Terminator' and 'Rambo'.

So... The fork is the Terminator and the spoon is Rambo, right?ΓΈ
I'll have to think on this complex philosophical issue.

Are you any further in your line of reasoning, Apt? It's simple, I will refer you to the first post in this thread and my post(s) in the Rambo vs Terminator thread. This evidence will provide impetus for your eventual victory over philosophy.

I know where it came from. I was being funny. I don't understand why you don't like polls where people compare one thing to another.
What's the difference between comparing Rambo and Terminator and comparing Mok and Tool or Quick Ben and Tay?

I think it's fairly offtack for a Malazan forum. True, we should be able to discuss such a thing, but my point is where do we cross the line? Do we start discussing and creating threads about any comparison, for example which colour grass do you like best or is your best friend fat or skinny? Sure they can be interesting, but do they really belong here? I just prefer polls with some relation to personal preference or anything to do with Malaz, after all they are the most relevant.
I'm not the greatest fan of polls in themselves for just comparisons, they need discussion in themselves otherwise they are meaningless.

My impression is that the top half is malazan related, the bottom half is everything else. We've got offtopic, discussion forums, fantasy, film, tv, music, roleplay, art, etc.
I don't see a label on the forums name "polls" that says it's limited to malazan matters, of course there could just be made an agreement that offtopic polls be moved to the Inn.

I see where you are coming from. I think it's more an unwritten agreement/rule people adhere to. To be honest I don't mind what happens, but having silly polls here is basically the same thing as posting in the inn so perhaps the business belongs there.
Of course anything relating to the more serious topics should be allowed in the polls sections, I guess.

Well, if you noticed, I actually was trying to make serious arguments for Rambo's superiority.

You were perhaps one of the only ones. Most comments reflected 'Terminator would win because he's more badass'. Hardly a vital contribution.
I'm quite indifferent to the whole issue, at the time it bothered me slightly but people should have rights to post these random polls. It just doesn't perhaps show the site in the best light from speaking to a few people.
