Yeah, I deleted your double post, which I think probably cross-posted with you doing exactly the same thing.

I have now checked, and he made that post before he read TTH, so no worries about spoilers there, just speculation I think.

It wasn't that big of a deal really, I didn't mind. Just giving him a hard time ;)
I still heart Goodkind.

It seemed to me that Chaur was going to awaken the other part of his mind and be normal...not become Herboric. Just my interpretation of things. Who is Chaur really. We don't know crap about his history really...unless my memory isn't serving me. :D Did he grow up that way or did something happen to him. Was he someone you shouldn't mess with and then receive a brain injury? I think Chaur will definitely step up in the storyline somewhere. He is someone you wouldn't want to mess with physically...with intelligence added to that he could be fairly deadly.
Looking for books that hold a candle to the Malazan series or the Shanara series. PM me if you can recommend one. :)

Um... does anyone think this thread is hall of fame worthy? To anyone confused by the end of the BH, it could be a great help?

Skywalker - this post has nothing to do with the fact that I started the dang thread... :D

Not really. Then again, the HoF hasn't really branched towards actual knowledge threads, it's mostly just silly stuff (which makes me feel so unloved)...

I kinda love it when D'rek unleashes her nerd wrath, as I knew she would here. Sorry innocent bystanders, but someone's gotta be the kindling.

I agree, it's pretty much how I read it.

About the Unbounds attack on Heboric I have one thing to add. Allthough the blow to Treach might have been worth taking out Heboric, the real reason, as I see it, was that Heboric was a powerfull obstacle between them and Felisin whom they were sent to collect.

Do also recall that in the previous book, "opportunity" knocked for those T'lan Imass accompanying Onrack and Trull, choosing to just slaughter L'Oric's old familiar..for really no particular reason ;)

So, being T'lan Imass, though unbound, perhaps it was just opportunistic.

Spoiler
Maybe the JG are the souls of all the CG followers/worshippers (not army for/against him) that went mad/crazy or were plain ripped out of their bodies when they summoned the CG down onto Wu. Maybe their ritual worked way to well and besides pulling a god from another realm they also ripped out the souls of those connected to him

Spoiler
