Bah, Connor couldn't even fight cancer! Rambo would just have used his knife to cut any tumorous growths out and poured some gunpowder into the wound.

Another question is which of the two people playing the combatants acted worse? I know what your thinking, but Arnie didnt even know he was supposed to be a robot.

Rambo does a fine acting job, the "friends guts was blown all over the street" scene in Rambo First Blood has always stuck with me... now, the WHO ARE YOU!!! WHO ARE YOU!!! scene from John Rambo has replaced it.

I thought the Rambo crying on the floor scene was pretty good too. Why didn't they leave it at that?

The real question is why didn't they put more drama into John Rambo? It's the best rambo since First Blood but it could have used a bit more Postraumatic Stress Afflicted Old Veteran wreck and less DIE FOR SOMETHING!

You are swiftly putting me off watching that movie - almost as fast as the sagging biceps and face.

No, watch it, it's probably the best action movie that's going to be released this year. The violence and grusome background is awesome. The film had me yelping at times in surprise and shock at the level of awesome shown in one scene.

Just wait and see what Rambo can do with a bow and arrow.

You can't prove rambo wouldn't too. And against the exact same women. Sarah Connor could easily kick rambo's ass. Besidse, he's a boyscout, women is probably his Achilles-heel.

Are there actually any words in Rambo's vocabulary though?

(I had a dream me and Sly lived in a trailer park last night. One of my more entertaining ones!)

In answer to the question: It all depends on location and weaponry. T-101 would win in an urban fight, he'd just run Rambo down with a bulldozer eventually. However, to decide who would win in a rustic woodland fight, one must first look to the Arnie vs Predator example set in the first Predator movie. Arnie goes Rambo style on the Predator at the end and wins hands down, despite the Predators infra-red vision that Apt thinks would give the T-101 the advantage. Rambo has much better rustic woodland skills than Dutch. The Terminators infra-red would therefore be rendered ineffectual, thus Rambo would easily beat Arnie in the woods. Following the arguement through, based on rustic woodland skills, Ray Mears would eat the lot of them for breakfast in a T-101, John Rambo, Predator sandwich.

Sidetracking here but I was never convinced that putting a 2 millimeter layer of mud on your skin, will stop an ultra sensitive heattracking system. Maybe if it was ice cold layer... but it was the jungle!

Maybe one of the militaryheads here on the forum knows some more on infrared vision.

I Cant help you, but I asked a smarter older officer and he said it is plausible....

The mud would be initially cooler then your skin, there for masking you, but it all depends on how much mud, and how long you were trying to hide... your body would sooner or later ,heat the cool mud to body temp depending on how much you had on you...

so who knows....

The mud would shield him from the infra red while it was wet, but as soon as it dried it would be even warmer than his skin used to be. If it stopped all heat from coming out surely he would overheat and collapse in a fit of some sort.

Ray Mears would out survive anyone, but would he's such a soft nancy-boy he wouldn't be able to eat the T101, Rambo, Predator sandwich because the packaging isnt biodegradeable and he HATES that.
