Picked up more Chronicles of the Black Company at Half Price Books: The Silver Spike, Shadow Games, Dreams of Steel, and Bleak Seasons.

I bought the entire Special Edition the UK version of Harry Potter and 2 beautiful Collector editions - the USA.
Actually I have not received the second book from America yet, it is on its way.
American edition is a lot more beautiful than British one. What a shame
They issued only the first two books in this format then stopped for some reason.

I just bought the new Toby frost book "The God Emperor of Didcot" this is the continued adventure of space captain smith a brilliantly funny creation of the british empire in space hugely amusing definitely worth a look at.

Actually, this makes sense if he's from America. They split the book in two over there and Orbit USA have just reissued it in one proper volume again. So from the American POV, it is an omnibus. I think Italy get each one of the three books split in 6 or something ridiculous.

Second Hand book stores are awesome
Bought almost the entire wheel of time series (just missing one, five and eight now), a pratchett and a simmons for the price of three/four new books... Yay

I hate reading books on the computer. I do love ebooks, though, for reference purposes. But fiction for pleasure, I need a real book.
There's a good used book store in my hometown, but I won't be able to hit it up until December.
