Well I've read the first three books in the Ender's Saga and I thought all three were good (though Enders Game was the best). I've heard tell that the first Ender's quartet is better than the Ender's Shadow quartet... Other than that I've read 'Songmaster' which was one of Card's earlier books and was also very very good (surprisingly so).

Well, on Thursday I bought 8 at a store that sells ex-city council library books. At $2 each it's hard to lose.

But also bought 3 at full price yesterday at good old Pulp Fiction.
* Temeraire 3: Black Powder War (loved the first 2).
* Alternate Generals: various authors short stories "what if?" military history. Edited by Harry Turtledove.
* Storm Front (Harry Dresden Book 1): if this sucks I'm blaming Abyss and clipping short his whiskers on one side.

Life During Wartime is an SF Masterwork now? Not that I disagree with the classification but...Wow! That makes me feel so very old; I bought it in it's original paperback release....
