I need to read Catcher in the Rye... I started it in high school I think when I was about 15. I didn't like it and never finished it, but I think I would get something completely different from it now.

just picked up The Warrior Prophet by R. Scott Bakker, but won't be reading this as i still don't have book 1, i just chanced upon this on a discounted price and it is the only one i saw, but hopefully i could remedy that as soon as possible,
just pre-ordered the first 2 books of The First Law Trilogy - The Blade Itself and Before They are Hanged by Joe Abercrombie, 2 Dresden Files - Fool Moon and Grave Peril by Jim Butcher and Books of the South omnibus by Glen Cook, whew!

edit:forgot to mentioned, i have also picked-up the other day on a discounted price - Raymond E Feist's Shadow of a Dark Queen, book 1 of Serpent War Saga,

I bought Peter Orullian's The Unremembered since it was in paperback; I figure even if I hate it at least it wasn't expensive. Also got the last of Glen Cook's Glittering Stone / Black Company books, Water Sleeps and Soldiers Live. I wasn't planning on buying it right away but the ending of She is the Darkness was so up in the air I sort of had to.

Got audiobooks of Shogun, Tigana, The Magicians, The Magician King, The Alloy of Law, A Fire Upon the Deep, A Deepness in the Sky, House of Suns, and Quantum Thief, all tucked away nicely on my Sansa 4gb clip. I'm currently finishing off Neverwhere, as read by Neil Gaiman himself. I'm reading King's Blood and still working on Faith.

picked up The Name of the Wind and Wise Man's Fear by Patrick Rothfuss, so far most of the new series that I've started have not disappointed me and I'm thoroughly enjoying all of it, I still have 2 (Chronicles of the Black Company and Empire in Black and Gold) that I haven't read aside from this new acquisition, my TBRP has added new recruits and I hope to read all of it by next and before end of the month so i could acquire more new books by that time, whew!

The Name of the Wind and Wise Man's Fear by Patrick Rothfuss is without doubt the books I have enjoyed the most since my discovery of malazan book of the fallen, it's just to bad that we have to wait for the third book.

picked up The Ragged Man , book 4 of the Twilight Reign series by Tom Lloyd. Though the second book is still really weak, I found myself enjoying the series a lot more the second time I've read it.

I believe that day 3 is suppose to be released may 2013. So it's nothing compare to the time I have waited for the last volume of The Wheel of time or half-life 3.

Picked up the first two Dresden Files omnibuses off the Half Price Books clearance rack. I already own the first 2 books, but this is basically getting the next 3 for $4 total. Not bad.

Also added The Swords Trilogy (Corum Chronicles omnibus) to my towering Michael Moorcock TBR pile.

Picked up THE COLDEST WAR by Ian Tregillis (the second book in the Milkweed Triptych.

I also grabbed copies of the newly re-released collected two-volume set of BATMAN: NO MAN'S LAND...of which I have a wholly uncompleted set of floppies and just wanted to re-read the whole thing en-masse.

Went to Half-Price Books. All the recent discussion of DUNE made me yearn for a re-read, so I picked up DUNE MESSIAH, CHILDREN OF DUNE, AND GOD EMPEROR OF DUNE.

The Angel's Game (and immediately started reading it)
The Prisoner of Heaven (in a beautiful purple hardcover with serrated edges)
Chasm City (by Reynolds)
Peril's Gate (by Janny Wurts, also another hardcover)

Now to try to find a place to put them all... :thumbsup:

Looks like I'm going to need a new bookcase again soon.

Edit: Oops, I forgot that I also bought Hard Boiled Wonderland by Murakami as well. I figure it's worth a shot with how well received it is on here and you guys haven't steered me wrong yet.
