The rise of 30 Rock

Has anyone been following this show?
After a few shaky episodes in the beginning of season 1, 30 Rock quickly became one of my favourite comedy shows ever. Now, in season 2, it's become one of my favourite shows ever in general. Every single episode (barring the last, but I blame that on the probs with the strike and all) has delivered what I feel is the smartest, sharpest, FUNNIEST comedy on TV today. It gives me the same fuzzy-wuzzies I get from watching great Simpsons episodes.
Yeah, I think that's the closest comparison I can make. Like Simpsons, but with real actors. And on the matter of real actors, I must say, Alec Baldwin is AMAZING as Jack Donaghy.

When he gets to the voices, man... *quivers*
I warmly recommend this show. If you gave it a shot and then gave up, I'd like to urge you to give it another try because it becomes something amazing very quickly.
Cheers

This Proves it, australia is the end of the world. we just had episode 1 of season I shown last week or something, i think. ididn't pay too much attention to it. is it that good? i suppose i must look into it then.
Question:
Does being the only sane person in the world make you insane?
If a tree falls in the woods and a deaf person saw it, does it make a sound?

Shakey Season 2? Did you not see the episode with Jerry Seinfeld? Comedic gold.
I cannot stand anyone on the show but Alec Baldwin, and maybe the Page.
The first few episodes were a challenge to get through.

Ah, I missed that, sorry!
This show grows on you... kinda like a fungus that after a while just looks cool and you want to keep it... errr, I have no idea.
Just watch the episode with Seinfeld.

I own the first season on DVD, and I watch the show religiously. Loves it!

I'm just bumping this up because I feel that, of the shows I follow, 30 Rock is the only one that's come out of the strike even stronger than before. These last few episodes have been really awesome, and they're doing a great job of moving the plot forward (yes, there IS a plot). I have high hopes for season 3 =)

Hilarious show. NBC really got a lot of my respect a couple of years ago when they didn't cancel "The Office" or "30 Rock" due to initial poor ratings but great critical appeal.
It's really paying off now.

I watched the first few episodes and didn't like it, but then I watched some from Season 2 and they were awesome, so my try again some time. By the way that link didn't work, but was it that bit in Rosemary's Baby with the Psychiatrist?

The MILF Island episode was one of the funniest things I had seen all year.

Tracy Morgan is just ridiculous on that show. And anything with Alec Baldwin is going to be nutty. Tina Fey is so damn talented, unlike her News buddy on SNL, Jimmy FAILon

I like it. Good stuff. Tia Fey is good, Baldwin is better, Morgan cracks me up.

Tracy Morgan is a train wreck waiting to happen, much like his character on the show, which is probably what makes him so great.
The feminine guy is hilarious as well, the dude who was in Talladega Nights.
