The Shake's "demons from the sea"=KCCM babies?

heh.. On the crazy theories page I developed a long rant about prehistory of KCCM, but the gist that applies here is as follows
KCNR were first born of Eleint in SD, but they rejected the power of their parents and took to technology instead. So the Eleint evolved part of them to KCCM, giving them longer tails and placing Matrons in charge. Now, some of the KCNR ran away to Wu, on their Sky keeps, and some KCCM went after them, wiped them out and took over running Wu, except for 7C, where the Degeroth kept them out.
Fast Forward--Other races emerge, Jaghut, mayhaps as servants to KCCM, then the Matron's power goes to their head, they resurrect KCNR, start themselves a war.. this weakens them, so that Jaghut and all kinds of Elder gods come out of hiding and all start to slowly wipe out KCCM...
All of a sudden, KE dies, Tiste crash the party on Wu, kill the matrons on Lether, than have themselves a "Massacre of the Bloody Eye".. Some Andii run East to mountains of Bluerose, others, run west to the tiny islands and eventually become Shake..
In the meanwhile, the "civillian" KCCM--the not-warrior residents of cities, along with some Kell Hunters left behind to guard the cities, run south...
Now, one of the centres of the Matron's power used to be Morn, and I'm not quite sure why KCCM toadling would wanna go East to Letheras, but they did anyways, maybe, b/c they sensed that that was the only place where the KCCM still survived..and , well the Andii would kill them before they could grow.
Then eventually, many thousands of years later, the KCCM living south figured that it was no longer safe, so they decided to migrate further East...Runing into the Awl...

Y'know, the fact that the KC and KN were in conflict as of the MT prologue does not necessarily follow to the exact start time of the revolution.
One might ask oneself, WHY did the Matron's reboot the KN subspecies in the first place? Skywalker's well ref'd quote shows us that the KC civilization was already in trouble, but it doesn't go any further than that.
- Abyss, notes one might also ask oneself, WHY does Apt have such a small penis, but that's barely tangential...

Could it, perhaps, be a reference to the demons fought at the stormwall, that were also featured in Night of Knives?

That would be interesting... but the Stormriders appear to be more connected to the Jaghut... while someone in RG identified the Shake as "guarding the shore for KCCM"

Actually that whole shore and sea thing I think was a subvergence of an ancient Andii belief in guarding between darkness and light. You know some kind of cult believing they need to keep vigile during the day and only rest at night or something weird.
Sea and Shore.
Light and Dark.
But of course keeping an eye out for swimming lizard babies could also figure in there

There's a reference in another of the books about the shore being worthy of worship, but can you believe it, I cant even remember the book. I think its in HoC, or MT tho, I didnt see anything all that important in it, but then again, I always miss the important stuff. Ill go hunt it down tonight. If I can remember lol!

Found this little bit in Midnight Tides. Trull talking to his demon friend Lilac.
Could explain why they are called demons. They're from another world.

Midnight Tides Bantam paperback page 678 said:
'In the river where I live, there are n'purel, the Whiskered Fish. They can eat a Kenyll'rah youth whole, and there are some in the deep lakes that could well eat an adult such as myself. Of course, we never venture onto the deeps. Are ther no such creatures here?'
'In the seas,' Trull replied, 'there are sharks. And, of course, there are plenty of stories of larger monsters, some big enough to sink ships.'
'The n'purel then crawl onto shore and shed their skins, whereupon they live on land.'
'That is a strange thing,' Trull said, glancing back at the demon. 'I gather that casting nets is a dangerous activity, then.
Lilac shrugged. 'No more dangerous than hunting spiders, Denier.'

"But how will we teach them to kill?"

All creatures that are not from Wu are essentially demons, it's just used as another word for extraterrestriel.
The word demon is thrown around a lot though, KCCM and FAs are also called demons by the unknowing, even though they are part of the founding races.

Good point.
Think of it as another indication that this might not be connected to the KCCM.
Though I base that on pure speculation. A bit of a crazy theory in fact

Backing it way up... the K'chain Karsa skullbroke in TB was a short-tail KN, not a KC.
The thingies Samar found in its stomach had apprenty survied its imprisonment in the NO fortress for however long, tho that could have been preservative magic along the lines of what happens to ascendents stuck under Azath forever.
That said, i figured those were digestive aids or some other technological toy the KN developed, not any sort of reproductive thing.
- Abyss, could make an 'X-Men/Maggot' joke here but no one would get it...
