I meant something to the extent of: Park has been a legend to me ever since one of the earlier Pro Evolution soccer's (He was known as the man who could play in every position even though he technically wasn't able to, we made him play everywhere to cover position).

This is coming from the man who misspelled sentence ;)

You could have just said PES, so everyone knew what you were on about:p

True. What a brillant game series.
I hope more and more game companies go PS3 exclusive to get the best out of the PS3 and the blu-ray technology. The potential is great.
Anyone thinking of buying any football games this year?

Nah. Not a massive fan of football games tbh. Though I used to have Fifa 97 on the PC. That was great, because you didn't have to buy the players, just swap them. So I started with the normal Man U team, and swapped all the rubbish ones for players with ratings over 95%. I had the most amazing team ever! ;)

Fifa 97 has to be the best football game ever ;) Especially once you got two players sent off, the ref would never book you again, so you could keep tackling the keeper and scoring :D

So, a Chelsea Liverpool game with goals. Im stunned. Id expected the usual all-out defensive borefest both usually provide.

And at least now I know that I'll definitely be supporting Man Ure in the final. Come on you northern gits, beat the chav scum!;)

As for Liverpool, well I think Benitez may be on his last legs. Hicks wants him out, DIC want him out, and yet again he's completely failed to mount any sort of challenge for even the top 2. His CL record's fine, I mean, dont knock getting into the semis, but with the huge amounts of money he's spent you expect much more in the league, and CL semis just dont make up for it.

He took torres off and people were screaming in thwe pub tonight, i said nothing, the man knows more than i do. babel scored, hypia should have got a pen, it was a close match, at that level a close game is as good as it gets.

you dont win the league and allt he cups by buying one striker. you build, year on year. give benitez anpther 2 years and we will pwn them all.

You're drunk so we're all allowed to ignore that post :D

Good game though ;) Hopefully the final should be quite good.

It will be a boring, defensive game. 0-0 up to about the 89th minute and then Ronaldo will score. :p

I think it will be entertaining. I want Brood and Simeon to have a bet on this game :p

I tip Ballack or Lampard to play a big part for Chelsea, I'm still unsure of the winner though.

I always win these bets with Brood... :p I do think Man U will win it though. Then next week Avram Grant will be reported as claiming that Man U cheated somehow. Then a week later he will be fired by Abramovich for losing in his own country...

It will be 1-1 after extra time, and because it's two english teams, neither are allowed to win the penalty shoot-out, so it'll just keep going for like a week until people get bored and award to to Liverpool for coming third(ish).

Obviously Utd should win since they have never built a team bought with the blood of Russian peasants and the tears of their starving children. Merely by building a global brand over 50 years so they can generate vast revenues through their armies of foreign fans.

Smart money says Chelsea 1-0 though.

Anderson won't play, inside information suggests he won't even be on the bench apparently.

Im not sure who i want to win. Perhaps Man U because they are a good team and have players come up from the ranks balh de blah blah where as chelsea are pretty much all brought.

I kind of resent the attempt to buy any competition.
"I think i was a bad person before. Before this time. I do not try to be good now but i am not bad. Perhaps if i try harder i may get a better hand dealt next time? But surely that makes it pointless? Perhaps i am good. Just good at being pointless. But that would make me bad. Bad at having a point. Ah…. I see now. I was nothing before, I am nothing now. I am bad purely because im pointless. "
