Love to see the dirk man scoring, hes such a workhorse, he must cover more miles than anyone on the pitch. Good to see Alsonso coming back to his best as well
We can't let chelski come out shooting, we need to hammer on and score another start outa the trapps second half

Let's see how the rest of the evening pans out...I think a Liverpool Barcelona final is possible because I can see Man Utd slipping up, I want them to win but Barcelona (my least favourite team. full stop.) always seem to haunt me.

Didn't watch the game but it seems Liverpool were highly unlucky. And to lose the advantage on an own goal is especially annoying...

I think they probably deserved a draw.
I mean, Liverpool were the better team, but it was a close match.

Poor old John Arne Riise, just when he thought his life couldn't get any worse, arrested by Police traffic cops last night on the M62, going home from the match, ........... apparently he was HEADING THE WRONG WAY !!!:hand:

Just watched the first half of Barcelona-Manchester United. How in the hell did Ronaldo miss that penalty only he and the gods know.
Impressed by Barca's play, especially Messi. Damn, but he's a good player. Still, I've faith that Man-U will pull it off somehow.
Go United!!

Sadly Barca not showing any cutting edge in the last third, Ronaldo's penalty blunder almost makes me feel good about Riise.

What a joke. That game was incredibly frustrating and boring. I think Man Utd will pull it off at Old Trafford. I dislike Barcelona more than anything.
Ferdinand was lucky E'to didn't dive in the penalty area.

EDITED FOR ACCURACY ... Ferdinand was lucky E'to didn't dive like Ronaldo would have done (did) in the penalty area.

I personally think that the penalty decision wasn't a penalty but the other two were. Both were incredibly clumsy defensive errors, you cannot barge someone to the floor without attempting to get the ball and you cannot slide in from behind and take out the player before you get the ball. It's as simple as that.
I respected E'to for staying on his feet. That is the most positive thing I've had to say about a Barcelona player in a while (Apart from Henry and Messi).
