Though I haven't seen any of it, Bill told me that most of the final artwork has been turned in by Komarck.
How good is it? It has received SE's seal of approval! So I guess it does look great!

It will be a nice surprise when it arrives, I've thoroughly convinced myself that it's a figment of my imagination and that I never had the money I once paid for it

More than a few times now I have completely forgotten about this now and been happy that It will arrive..
Still pondering If I should do it for the whole series.
If I was mega rich I would get the $1500 deluxe edition of the Book of the New Sun with some sick artwork all through it..

In celebration of getting a new job I have placed an order. Until then I'm not looking at any more artwork from it so that I have something more to look forward to. Can't wait.

This "soon" rhetoric is wearing a bit thin even for me
Would surely be best to have said it would take another few months instead of it constantly insisting it was on the verge of being sent.
Unimpressed by SubPress' tactics with this, anyway

As long as it comes in time for x-mas, snow and portwine I'm happy

You're getting your hopes up with that wish
I'm going to hope to get the book at all, I'm predicting SubPress will fall foul to the credit crunch before we get our copies delivered.

I dont see that being an excuse, though if it is im gonna be mighty pissed. tha majority of the freaking copies have been paid in full for months now. funding should not be an issue.

so, I contacted Subterranean regarding Garden's as well as A Feast For Crows as I feel they should keep us abreast of the situation. seeing how they how they already took my money. here's what they said....
Hi.
The Feast art is due to be turned in tomorrow, or the artist is being replaced for the color work on the book. As soon as the color work has been turned in, we'll be going through the book one final time, not proofing it, just looking, and it will be sent to the printer.
GARDENS awaits only the cover, which is due later this week, and then it will be sent straight to the printer.
Best,
Bill
hopefully this will hold up, and we can all get to hold our copies in our very own hands soon,....love the new forum by the way...
