I've emailed Bill to see if he knows how late Komarck is with the artwork.

Also, in case you didn't check the blog lately, I recently posted that most Subpress limited editions were in some instances heavily discounted via Amazon. I've got links to the more popular Subterranean Press titles on the blog, and amazon.ca has the numbered edition of GotM at 39% off!

Those who thought they couldn't afford might yet do so now. And those who pre-ordered it might want to check if the price of their order has been adjusted. Otherwise, cancel and pre-order again...

Check the blog for all the details!

I just bought it.
That painting of Rake was what sold it.
More of that, and how could you not buy it?

...now I just have to wait :p

Nope, but the Rake pic should tell us that work is progressing in the right direction! :p

I suggested that Bill and Komarck make the Anomander Rake cover available as an art print. Don't know if they'll go along with the idea, but I know I'd like to have it on my wall!:D

awesome patrick, from what I've seen (WJ and Paran + Rake) all the art looks like it'd make a great print.

Good idea, I'm sure they will do some research into the idea. If they feel it goes along with their vision and it's profitable, they could do it.

Bill just sent me two sketches that will potentially end up as the gatefold print, and they're spectacular! :D They both depict the siege at Pale.

I've asked if I can post the art on the blog, so I'll let you know how it goes...

Good Lord those are amazing!

thanks Pat, you deliver us gifts beyong measure again.

think I prefer the second slightly, its nice to see the sorcery employed and the slightly more yellowish cast to various spots of the sky gives some nice variation to it imo, the ravens are brilliant.

Well I just found myself a new background right there.

I don't like the one with the "Death-star-rays-of-death" coming out of it much, but the first one is insanely cool. That is what a cover should look like.
