Thanks for the response. I was just wondering because I have the Sub Press edition of Lies of Locke Lamora and it doesn't have the maps that were in the original hardcover. Good to know.

Yippee, I finally got my copy down here in New Zealand. A lovely surprise sitting on my doorstep this afternoon.
I really hope they can sign Michael Komarck up for the subsequent editions as well. I really like his style.

You would think the book gets to houses in America first.... but no, they don't.

My guesses would be that either a) they ship them in the order that they received our orders;
they ship them in order of edition number ie from 1 to 500 or c) they ship the international orders first, figuring that they take longer to arrive and hence they all arrive around the same time...
I don't know and if I lived in the US and saw that people on the other side of the planet were getting theirs I probably would be frustrated as hell!
I see that according to the newsletter though all the pre-orders have been shipped so you should be getting them very shortly

I finally got mine despite living in Indiana, as opposed to the other side of the world, and I must say I am almost fully pleased. My one complaint is how the picture index says "Fall of Pale (Lettered Edition Only)" Gah I wanted that version! At least take that line out of the numbered version so as not to tease us!
Oh and another minor complaint: I would have loved to see a picture of the Hounds.

I am frustrated that it isn't here, but I figured that same thing as you Marduk, that they are shipped in the order recieved.
So I don't find a few extra days as long as it arrives before my break is done.

Ok 12 hours later and BOOM. I got it.
I've been leafing through it and read the first 50 pages or so and I am very happy with this book. Will certainly continue to get them as long as subpress continues the series.

I opened up to a random page and read a little bit of it. On page 71 it said Dujek was a High Mage. Lol. But that was probably there in the original version.

Ordered mine last week. Hopefully it comes in soon, with everything I have seen and heard it looks to be a great edition.

Yep, got mine yesterday, and I'm quite happy with it. The artwork is really good, and much as the wagon inside Dragnipur could look so much cooler, it's not bad, by any definition. I like teh QB and Kalam one, too. Though that's not what I pictured long-knives to look like, and Kalam seems a bit...thin/small.

Mine arrived today in the Mid three hundreds and I had ordered this really late in Arizona.
It's amazing. Love the way the formatting with the entry statements worked out. The page setup is awesome and quality of overall book itself is great!
The main pictures are trully stunning to look at.
Can't wait to read it again over the weekend.
>They did fail with wagon, but oh well that is my harsh criticism. I think it woulda been fine had it been smaller and with chaos in the background.
It's really minor compared to the overall work.
P.S. If we can ever order a slipcase in the future I would be in.please!

The slipcase came with the Lettered Edition. So if you got the numbered edition, you're prolly SOL.

I just received my copy and I am extremely pleased with it. The illustrations are simply gorgeous, the wagon is the weak link but it is by no means bad. Also, for anyone who is a stickler for packaging, this was likely the most carefully and well packed book I have received in my life.

Apparently mine ended up at my parents house.
Now I have to wait until easter before I get to see it
Any news on Deadhouse Gates? Has Kormack started on that one yet?
