Fair point as to the limits of ambiguity in a blockbuster. And there is always the next sequel!

Ok, i've never read the bourne books, I wasn't sure about them. I like a good action book, but I dont really like the spy/espionage books, and I thinks the Bourne books are like that. If it is good though with lots of action, I might someday decide to read them, don't know about that though.

I don't know if people should get their hopes up for another sequel. I heard an interview with Paul Greengrass (Director) and Matt Damon on BBC Radio, and when asked if they'd consider doing another, the reply was basically, "When Tottenham Hotspur finish in the top 4 in the Premiership, they'd do Bourne No.4".
Now considering the history, and current form of Tottenham Hotspur Football Club (Spurs), that's not a very promising prospect.
And if they do another, what'll they call it?
BOURNE FREE?
BOURNE ON THE 4th OF JULY? -perfect for a summer blockbuster title, even gives them the opening day ;-)
