Corabb's sort of become an object in himself- cant remember exactly when, but it's in RG and I think it's Fid who says something like stick close to Corabb and we'll be ok. The others are becomong more and more aware of it and "using" his luck for their benefit.

Corabb = new coin!

Haha, yeah. I loved that bit where they decide Corabb should be the one to take the shot to kill the leader of the garrison.

His luck must get annoying sometimes though. It always seems like he does something that would usually be fatal to oneself (like tripping over when he was about to engage those Edur in that village) that must make him look like such a fool to the rest of the squad. Still, it gets the job done.

Sir Thursday
Don't look now, but I think there's something weird attached to the bottom of my posts.

His continued presence worries me a bit. It doesn't bode well in my eyes.

Although he's beloved of the lady and all that, luck is fickle and when his luck turns I doubt he or anyone nearby is going to have a smile on their face. The Queen of dreams says in 'The bonehunters' that his luck doesn't necessarily extend to those around him. I take that to mean don't count on it.

I think Fiddler recognises Corabb's supernatural luck as not something that can be taken for granted but can be used. I just hope he keeps Corabb at arms length when he's handling cussers!

The Errant found out that Oponn exists in RG. Which implies that Obo did not kill them in BH.

I expected at some point that Tarr would let Corabb be killed at some point. He muses about not standing ground for him, and then one moment Fid commands Corabb to assist Tarr...

is his luck going to have to change, if he is beloved of the lady surely that’s different from being used by oponn. maybe he is the ladies version of a mortal sword or some such?

The lady is the side of the luck you want, the Lord is generally bad luck, from what i've understoof anyway.
So even if The Lady abandons Corabb, I don't think his luck will turn the other way, he'll just stop being extremely lucky.
