Still waiting for this come out in about 3(?) months time.

Fatal Revenant - Chapter 1

Thought I'd do some thread necromancy...
I just got my copy of Fatal Revenant in the mail. I had last read from "Lord Foul's Bane" straight through to "Runes of the Earth" when that last book came out.
Now, I don't have the time (or the inclination) for a reread of the preceding seven books before getting into this one. So my question is:
a) I saw there is a 'Story so far' section in this book - is it good enough to read that and get into it?
Do I have to reread Runes of the Eart before I get into this book?
c) Are there any chapter summaries out there (for the whole series/ for Runes of the Earth) that may help?

a) I think the 'story so far' part is indeed good enough, it was good enough for me and I hadn't read the First or Second Chronicles beforehand.
If you remember the basics of Runes of the Earth then no, you'll quickly get into the flow of the story without reading Runes of the Earth -
SPOILER! SPOILER! SPOILER! Oh, for the ending of RotE and basically the beginning of FR.
c) I'm not sure, but I don't think you need any.
