Thanks for the verification. I should have made a note where it happened.

dunno if Karsa's section ever notes it, but the big point to it is with Trull and Onrack. Twin suns rise and Trull says something like "The suns rise again, here in the heart of Kurald Emurlahn" blah blah blah.

Death is the only portal.

Sorry for the stupid question but where would that gallery be?

Also, I am pretty sure I recall a far more detailed version of Werthead's map, including (which I am mainly interested in right now) the lands east of Lether. Did I just imagine that?

If you look up the top right there is a button saying "gallery" (or at least there should be). That's where it is. Or you could just search "gallery" and find it that way. I think Werthead's most detailed map is in there too. Not sure, but I remember seeing the map you're talking about.

Version 6 of his world map is in the gallery, which features a big update on Korel and Stratem, but I don't think I've ever seen anything beyond v6

I kinda love it when D'rek unleashes her nerd wrath, as I knew she would here. Sorry innocent bystanders, but someone's gotta be the kindling.

Damn good work! But I would welcome a few more details like important cities, mountains, rivers, borders etc... But this map really helped me imagine the whole planet...

I just got through reading all the books of the series back to back to back except DofD and CG and Esslemont's Stoneweilder and OST, and from my interpetation Lether should border some northern artic ice mass, not be in the middle of the planet as should Genabackis, or at least both continents northern edges should be roughly the same it would seem to make sense with basic Planet formations.

The ice fields of northen Lether are the result of Gothos and his ritual. The fact that Lether's location is in the middle of planet don't really mean anything as the ice is not natural in orgin but rather magical.
