Saw the Tool pic - pretty cool. Thought he's be more dessicated and boney - undead looking. Thought his bone sword would be different - more serrated edge style?

What happened to the pic of Tattersail?

"I think i was a bad person before. Before this time. I do not try to be good now but i am not bad. Perhaps if i try harder i may get a better hand dealt next time? But surely that makes it pointless? Perhaps i am good. Just good at being pointless. But that would make me bad. Bad at having a point. Ah…. I see now. I was nothing before, I am nothing now. I am bad purely because im pointless. "

Thanks Khan. I liked the previous sketch of 'Sail, though I thought she might have been a bit more attractive.

You're welcome Paran my friend :p

Well, Flawed my friend, since you asked so nicely :p Below is a sketch of the Hound of Shadow Gear. It is not the final version, the colors are wrong as Mr. Erikson mentioned to me that Gear's fur is greyish/black.

Are the hounds really supposed to be that big compared to a human? I know they are the size of a mule but still.

Of course ST probably isn't taller than 1,5 meters so it fits :p

For some reason, I'm reminded of Gregory Manchess's awesome work on Gene Wolfe's The Wizard Knight books.

Gylf in full battle mode would probably be something like a Hound of Shadow. I too am liking these pictures. Keep 'em coming and I appreciate that you guys (brothers?) are able to successfully work it between Erikson and artist.
I survived the Permian and all I got was this t-shirt.
