My favorite Anime:

Berserk
Full Metal Alchemist
Cowboy Bebop
Captain Herlock (

I know, But I like it)
Gankutsuou
Last Exile
Gungrave
Chobits
Love Hina
Rurouni Kenshin (Probably the best long series out)

Thats all I can really think of now. I like stuff with a bit of depth (And Love Hina and Chobits

Those are my secret shame) Gankutsuou is probably the high point of last years anime viewing for me. Fantastic show.

lol!!! I once enjoyed Love Hina too. I love everything in your list except for those I haven't seen - Berserk, Gungrave, CH and Gankutsuou.

ok, here're some recommendations for you:
seriously indepth + a bit of humour:
- Samurai Champloo (same author as Bebop)
- Mushishi
- Twelve Kingdoms
- Crest of the Stars
- Infinite Ryvius

As a Kenshin and FMA fan, you might enjoy 'Hunter x hunter' and 'Eureka Seven'. Both are exceptionally good - and long.

Definetly have a love for anime, currently watchin Bleach and Naruto. However, lately I haven't come across anything that exciting, in my eyes.

My favourite series would have to be Last Exile. I thought that was absolutely brilliant!
