Looking for a book of short stories, sci-fi. One of the stories is about a apocalyptic virus that makes people’s bones dissolve and they turn into flesh blobs. There is another story set waaaay in the future about the dominant species on the planet being genetically engineered people with chlorophyll In their skin to supplement food. They are hunting one of the last remaining humans for meat.

A book where a kid was born "out of phase" or out of the regular cycle of the community/world's births, and they have to hide it. I think they risk death or something if it becomes known. Other people help them hide it.

That's all I can remember...

(It's not Le Guin's Planet Of Exile. That's the book that jiggled my memory of this other book in the first place.)
