Gosh , Porcupine Tree is an awesome band !! I saw them twice , and hope in Septembre again in Paris , Steven Wilson rules ! Arriving Somwehere but Not Here is a great song , one of my favorite -but MY Porcupine Tree song is Tinto Brass Posted Image

I use to listen these days :

Pure Reason Revolution --- The Dark Third
Porcupine Tree --- B-sides
Pearl Jam --- Yield , No Code and the last one
Sons & Daughters --- The Repulsive Box
The Raconteurs --- The last band of Jack White , it is quite good , I love Store Bought Bones & Yellow Sun

And uh ... Village People (I love Macho Man) and the Guess Who American Woman

Yup , in April and November 2005 and coool they come back again in Paris in September , after Pearl Jam (11 th) the same week . Steven was more talktative (very thin , little and very simple) the last time , Arriving Somewhere but Not Here is very loud in live and they took pleasure playing it !

Steve Wilson? Isn't he the producer for "Blackwater Park" by Opeth? I believe he also played the uber-solo on the song "Bleak"

Yes , Steven worked with Opeth , and he is in something with the guy of the drums from Dream Theater , and maybe even a guy from Opeth , don't remember very well ... Don't even remember the name of their band , if there's a name , shame on me !

I will admit to listening to their first album a fair bit when it came out, and I was about 17, and not wise in the ways of proper music. :) Haven't listened to any of it in a long long time though. They grate me.
