GREAT instrumental. Even better than Iced Earth's 1776 if I say so myself. :)

Metric - "Too Little Too Late"

I'd rate this as probably their best song.
And so the First denied their Mother,
in their fury, and so were cast out,
doomed children of Mother Dark.

They're also one of those bands I never get tired of seeing live.

Serj Tankian - "Empty Walls"

I'd love to see Metric live. They haven't been here lately though, which is a shame.

It's an advantage to living in one of the major Canadian cities. I'm hoping they'll be back this Fall.

The Stanfields - "Ship to Shore"

If anyone is a fan of The Dropkick Murphys you would probably love The Stanfields. They're an Maritime band starting to make it big, kind of a celtic punkrock vibe (like the Dropkicks) but with far more of a kitchen party style.
And so the First denied their Mother,
in their fury, and so were cast out,
doomed children of Mother Dark.

Good to see the love for METRIC. Wouldn't have been my choice for their best song, but that's cos i like the louder songs of theirs (love the intro for Patriarch on a Vespa). "Live it Out" is a really solid album.

But now I going to go and listen to some of their stuff, starting with something reasonably light.

METRIC - Combat Baby

It is better to keep your mouth closed and let people think you are a fool than to open it and remove all doubt - Mark Twain

Never argue with an idiot!
They'll drag you down to their level, and then beat you with experience!

Wow, it's like a better version of Owl City (which I'm not a fan of) :( Good stuff to have playing while working, thanks!

Avec plaisir. Glad you liked it. In case you missed it earlier here is a link to their official site which you can open and have about a dozen tracks playing in the background:
