I've been listening to Anti Flag for a while - I quite like most of their stuff.

Incubus - Sick Sad Little World
A Haunting Poem
I Scream
You Scream
We all Scream

Frankie Goes To Hollywood - The Power Of Love

I gotta start listening to these guys more before they become famous :D

Why don't you just find some really obscure music and listen to that, then your music will always be exclusive and rare. Or even better, make up some band names and everyone will assume they're really cool and rare... then you can listen to whatever you want in your bedroom without feeling like a cop-out.
If it makes you feel any better I've never heard of any of the groups you post in this thread (and hopefully never will), so rest assured there's always someone out there you can feel superior to. :D

@Leoman: Anti-Flag are already reasonably mainstream. For some punk that nobody seems to listen to anymore, try Refused.

I'm 25. Just downloaded an Anti Flag tune. Not bad! Not exactly revolutionary though, I was expecting something new.

TISTE>>>>
Also downloaded a couple of Dragonforce tracks just for fun, my god that is ridiculously fast! Their drummer must have about six arms! What is this genre... Gabba-metal? Still at least its got some tune unlike most of the music that's this fast. Some of it sounds a bit like Happy Hardcore as well; uplifting vocals, monotonous beat, and wailing melody. Happy music is always good.
