I dunno - Summer of Darkness was a fairly awesome album! Have you heard ecoming the Archetype yet? They are similar to Demon Hunter but with amazing instrumental solos and acoustic bits!

The Mars Volta - Miranda that Ghost Just Isn't Holy Anymore

Does a band being "indie" automatically make it cool? Or vice versa, if a band is a commercial success, does that mean that they aren't cool? I'm confused.

Iggy Pop - The Passenger.

MCR used to be my fav band along with Alexisonfire, and UnderOath.
But once everyone figures out it's cool to like them, you'll go to a concert and it'll be all these stupid wigers and preppy sluts. I just want to kick the **** outa them and get them to stick to their own crappy Shania Twain or some junk like that.

And now for the lesson in musical irony. Rodeo, pay attention...

My Chemical Romance is widely considered to be one of the lowest bands in an already dodgy genre - pop-punk/pretend emo. The irony is that in the wider music community, people like Leoman who like this band are considered to be 'preppy sluts'. Many people would like 'to kick the **** outa them'. The fact that Leoman is aiming for the high ground of musical elitism here has made me laugh for days.

Oh, and: Opeth - The Leper Affinity

Chronix Agression = great web radio station.

Seems like regardless what music you listen to, there will always be someone who thinks he's more hardcore than you and would like to kick your butt.

There are way too many people who define themselves only in relation to others.

Tilliboyo - Kronos Qt.

I couldn't be hardcore if I tried. My musical taste prevents me from being cool in any sense of the word.;)
