I'm skimming the lyrics to Amongst the Catacombs and I cant find a SINGLE reference to Satan, un-anything or christianity. Therefore, they are not BM. Just big Bad Death Metal. (And metal-archives backs me up on this too) Ergo, you dont know your **** Ashie.
And the lyrics suck.
And I'm not a radish. Im a giant dildo.

HA! I win. depends what decent means. I mean Anal Cvnt has some hilarious lyrics. Opeth has good lyrics on Orchid (and all the others, but thats the closest to not-prog that they've done) Death had excellent lyrics. And they are ****ing awesome, so they win on both counts. Suffocation has good lyrics for extreme metal... so that kinda counts. Cryptopsy is probably the closest thing to good black metal lyrics, at least the first two.
But yeah. Out of hundreds of bands, I came up with 4. (AC doesnt count, cause funny they are, but suck their lyrics do)
And Crown of Thorns (The good svvvvvvvvvvvvvvedish one). Well, for Angels Die at least, most of the rest of their lyrics suck.
