OK so if you don't know the hilarious Raised by Owls from my very own Yorkshire, you should check out some of their ridiculous videos (their music is metalcore and not for all tastes but a lot of their videos are more mocking metal culture etc.)

Thought they were singing 'If you really love me then I'll say good / bye' but apparently it's 'bug' not 'love'....

Ethically sound lyrics for a summer banger, but after the first three lines they really get... bland. And even the opening lines aren't 'Spicy'....

In this case, Spicy = Spice GIrls. It's an interpolation (well, very close to a full-bore cover) of 'Wannabe'. Interestingly it leaves out the iconic chorus in favor of the verses, which I think helps it maintain that chill vibe it has throughout. It never really rises above that (which I kinda appreciate about it), but can something so chill still be a 'banger'?

I was thinking maybe there should be a subset of #BangerSummer2021 -> #HotVaxSummer. Do you guys think this song would be a great candidate as the anthem for #HotVaxSummer?
