Ooh. Must get a hold of that one. I only have 4 of their albums - Dreaming Neon Black, The Politics of Ecstasy, Enemies of Reality and This Godless Endeavour.

I think Enemies is their best so far, followed by Dreaming, then This Godless and The Politics.
It's all good though! :D

I'm not a fan of covers of U2, the Scorpions, and Barnes....or Pink Flloyd except i like that Korn version of ANother Brick.

Don't forget to get the "In Memory" EP, and "Dead Heart in a Dead World", the latter being bloody amazing. Luckily Century Media (thier label) is having a 15th anniversary re-issue bender so the Nevermore, and In memory EP are available again with bonus tracks.

Well of course I would like to get every album by them, because I much enjoy them.

Incidentally, how would you describe them to someone who doesn't know the band, nor do they know much about that area of music in general? Someone asked me what kind of music Nevermore were, and I just said "Think Metallica but a lot better, heavier and faster."
Would you say this is a fair representation? Bear in mind these people weren't very rock/metal minded...

Well the classic definition is Melodic Metal (which they are basicly the creators of) they're not thrash. But if you're trying to explain it to non-metal minded people, then I'd say that it is a good description, though I'd suggest having a tune on hand to have them take a listen. But I find in general they're music is slower then Metallica, except of course for Enemies and a few songs.
