I admit to being a rap snob and never really listening to 50 because I thought he was a dick.

But he debut CD really is quite good.

I will grant you that In Da Club had an awesome beat, and was a pretty good song, but i've found his subsequent songs (that i've heard) to be clichéd, not to mention musically and lyrically uninteresting. I would use PIMP and Candy Store as the examples that spring to mind.

But I find it hard to like many rappers these days. I tend to prefer an MC or two, and a kick ass scratch artist.

But in the spirit of the old school, block party style of rap, how about
