Pagan Altar's newest and probably last album hit Bandcamp (RIP Terry), they also uploaded the rest of their releases.

If you like NWOBHM/Doom, I encourage you to take listen.

huh, I'll be damned. I guess Eddie Vedder played this song on Twin Peaks. Don't get Showtime so don't watch it and the original was a bit before my time. But anyway *shrugs, huh, I'll be damned, country ham, from Alabam.

Another jazz trio, Eple Trio, recently came out with a new album and it's great! It's not available on streaming yet, but their previous one Universal Cycle is.

It's good, but coming from a super group like that...I expected more.

Yeah, agree. It probably would have been all the rage like 20 years ago or something, but I dunno, in 2017 it just seems like an outdated concept.

I just don't think they were all trying very hard. It sounded good, it was cool seeing everyone, but something visceral was missing. Maybe that wasn't the best track to lead off with? I felt the same way with Maiden's last album. Heard the first release and thought, that's it? That's what I've been waiting for? Glad the rest of the album had some meatier songs.

I picked up a 1000Mods album. Awesome band out of Greece.

That Prophets of Rage song suuuuucks. Jeez! All these dudes are past their prime, I'm afraid. The Rage dudes haven't done anything interesting since BoLA. I still listen to the first two Cypress Hill albums pretty regularly, and B-Real hasn't had anything new to say since then. I don't wanna say anything negative about Chuck D so I won't. I guess I'll give the album a shot though, just to be sure.
