anomander rake, whiskey jack, itkovian, Crokus and apsalar, any of the seguleh, karsa, sichlas Ruin, Redmask, quick ben, lostara yil, Apt, the dude who branded the cutlasses in memories of ice. I'd like to see the seguleh 1st cross blades with anomander. Already got to witness Quick taking on the crippled god and of course karsa, icarium II. Karsa battling a k'chaine ch'melle...classic. would like apsalar and crokus to have another reunion. they deserver each other.

Tool and Trull have crept up high on the list. Anyone that looks Iccy eye to eye and then steps back up for round 2 gets bonus points.

Another character that has jumped up the lists is Temper. NoK spoiler:

Circlebreaker....jk

Fiddler and Quick Ben

- I wonder if Quick Ben was given his name because of bedroom perfomances.

Cotillion, Icarium and Dassem Ultor.
Although all three are ultra-powerful it's their personalities that most appeal to me. However, I don't like them wholeheartedly except Cotillion, the other two I can see faults in them and like them less at differing points.

Name a God that has not left a path of carnage behind themselves, it is the nature of being a god. Although mass murder is not to be smiled upon.

It was not my meaning. My meaning was my liking for Cotillion is above reproach almost, whereas Icarium and Dassem appeal less to me at differing times. Cotillion has been my favourite character since GoTM-DHG, when we truely learn the connection between Dancer and Kellanved.

Lol, I know what you are saying... The rope is one of my favorite characters also....Besides being bad ass; he seems to have a conscience and sense of honor... I had liked him from the beginning but when he showed up to speak to kalam hanging on to the sky keep eating an apple it was cemented.

- A god who hasnt left a path of Carnage??? Not sure... maybe Oponn, possible Burn....dont know enough about there path to be sure.

Possibly the Barghast gods? Don't think they've managed to kill that many people yet.

I enjoy reading Tehol, Kruppe and Pust.

I was rather disappointed by the distinct lack of Rope in the latter half of BH. But bumbling powerful old mages do appeal to me.

onos too'lan, lady envy and toc the younger. this thread in the novel MOI is one of my favorites. They cut a serious path of destruction on the way to reach the pannion seer (jaghut tyrant in disguise) and all the while whipping sarcasm back and forth faster than a seguleh dicing thru his enemy. I am getting the same feeling with the group let by Silchas Ruin in RG. Only this time the two legged - sword infused nightmares are on our side. Did i just chose a side. Crap, i guess i do favor the Tiste Andii.

K'chaine ch'melle are my favs too because they are without a doubt the most fearsome creatures imaginable. I think SE enjoys them too as they show up it in so many threads in the story. And these were the ones that lost the war. the short tails are even more fierce. Was it a short tail that Karsa brain bashed?

I have such high expectations for this character. Trying to map out the tapestry that is the Azath, and for what reason? Feels like he's playing everyone (Edgewalker included)... I'd really love it if he had to duke it out with one of the other big players sometime. That would be awesome B)
The leader, his audience still,
considered their scholarly will.
He lowered his head
and with anguish he said,
"But how will we teach them to kill?"

I think that time will come soon, with the war of the gods and stuff. Shadowthrone is all but a neutral player B)

ummm.. (takes a huge bite out of an apple), Cotillion--he's a badass god with a calculating, platinum heart. and he loves apples.
Genoes Paran--MotD, 'nuff said
Kalam--there's just something about an unstoppable assasin...
QB--he's not only being a pompous, high and mighty know-it-all, but can actually back it up, too
Toc... whose body he'll end up in next?
all the designated comedians
all the designated badass Ascendants/Elder Gods
Fear+Trull... Binadas dissapointed me greatly..
that's all for now
The problem with the gene pool is that there's no lifeguard

Itkovian Otanthalian, Pearl, Rallick Nom, Cotillion, Trull Sengar, Silchas Ruin, Topper, and Tayschrenn, that is all that immediately comes to mind, fourteen hours from my books, aaaaaaaarg.
‘Keep on like that and I’ll drop a rock on your head while you sleep.’

"I'm harmless, the non-violent kind of psycho."

'"If a tree falls in the woods and there is nobody there to hear it, does it makes a sound?"' the answer is an unequivocal "no." The falling tree simply produces waves of energy. The experience of "sound" is a phenomenon of the auditory system.'

"Uncle" in Deadhouse Gates is right up there near the top. A perfect blend of humour, machismo and doomed resignation.

Also a fan of Caladan Brood, a pity we haven't seen more of him. Wonder what would happen if he (and his hammer) went up against Icarium...?

Ganoes Paran is my favourite. Also Tehol and Bugg. Quick Ben too, Fiddler, Rake. Shadowthrone and Cotillion. And can't leave Karsa out of this list.
Flying Monkeys definitely win.
