Onrack makes a good crashtest dummy. Wouldn't hurt to have a few more unfortunate individuals that everything seems to go wrong for them and they get all tore up but still survive (so they can get torn up even worse next time) hehe.

There was Limp too but he seemed to just keep getting his knee smashed to smithereens. Painful, but not as amusing as Onrack who was loosing bits and pieces everwhere.

Icarium seems empty. In Karsa's words, "he has lived too long"

Corabb is as bad as Onrack, everything the guy does result in something trying to kill him, he walks in Oponns shadow for sure.

Tragic: Mappo and Icarium. There were a few parts there that just about had me in tears. Don't Look at Me!

Hilarious: Bugg and Tehol (Try and tell me they didn't remind you of Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie with Bertie and Wooster... TRY it!). Also Fiddler. He had some good lines

Badassedness: Rake, Quick Ben (does anyone else find him to be one of the more "overpowered" of the bunch? Remember in MOI when it says "It would take an entire cadre of High Mages of Reannas {sp?} to make illusions like that, but here was one man...").

Stoic Hero: Whiskeyjack (wry too...). I was so effing sad when he died.

There are so... so... many...

He had Talamandas and Hood himself as back-up there, don't think he has it in him to do that alone.

It's 12 souls (not sure if that includes his own or not), and he can use 8 or 9 of those souls (or rather their associated warrens) at one time. I think he simultaneously used 8 against Raest-possessed Mammot in GotM, but a conflicting number has been mentioned since.

DM is right, he used 8 in GOTM, and then 6 against each Korbo and Bauch in MoI.
If I remember, he has an internal monologue when he thinks about using all 12 at once, but that he thinks it would taste like goodhood, and he is afraid he would come to like it too much. I think this is in MoI.

um, fav characters out of the whole series?
Ganoes Paran, QB, Fiddler, Kalam (yeah, almost all of the BB), Trull, Onrack, Rake, Cotillian, Bugg, Tehol, Seren, L'oric, Bottle, the historian in DG, Nether, Tool, Toc (wonder whether we'll see him again in later books).

*not Kruppe though

Without a doubt Karsa Orlong, I have enjoyed watching his growth from ignorance into wisdom.

Anomander Rake, every time he appears some major badassness occurs.

Icarion, i'm waiting for the Karsa vs Icarion rematch, Icarion( or should I say hulk, the references are very clear though he's always kind of green) seems to have been manipulated from the very start.

As has been said before, there is too many great characters to list.

The best character by far has got to be Anomander Rake! I cant wait till he comes back into the story - just the mention of him gets me excited!

I also liked Itkovian, Tool, and most of the bridgeburners. The remaining heavies in the 14th are good too. Especially at the end of TB when they were refusing to hand over the Wickans! Developed a bit of a soft spot for them then.

Dont like Kruppe though. His rambling irritates me. I'd like to see Rake use Dragnipur on him!!!

It seems like SE wont let the kind of characters i like survive or stay in the story, but will make my list anyway.

Whiskeyjack (Dead)
Dujek (Dead)
Onos Toolan (Hopefully gonna show up again)
Itkovian (Dead)
"uncle" Bult (Dead)
Brys Beddict (Dead)
Iron Bars (Crimson Guard so probarly wont be major player)
Trull Sengar (My last hope)

Please SE kill more comic characters and less characters with sense of honor, duty and the skill to do something about it.

PS. Ofcourse i like people as cool as Anomander Rake and Icarium. I just cant picture me in those godlike people so they dont count.

I don't think that the death of a Pust or Kruppe would have quite the same impact as a Fiddler or Rake, but the Ceda was more arguably comic than serious and his death was stunning.

- Abyss, speculates that Redmask may be added to his list once RG is released.

Apsalar, Gaboes Paran, Shadowthrone
I have stolen princesses from sleeping barrow kings
I have burned the town of Trebon
I have spent the night with Felurian and left with both my sanity and my life
I was expelled from the University at a younger age most people are allowed in
I tread paths by moonlight that others fear to speak of during the day
I have talked to Gods, loved women, and written songs that make minstrels cry
You may have heard of me....
