I picked the Jaghut although i wouldn't be one of the tyrants; i was close to picking the T'lan Imass before they underwent the ritual to immortality to fight their eternal battle. I feel they had the most emotions out of all the races before, their plight appeals to me too. The Jaghut have hidden and are generally said to like isolation which is also a desirable trait for me on the conditions i have a few named others alongside me, total isolation would be dull.
A lot of problems reside with the rest of the races as i can't help feel most are too arrogant i.e. tiste liosan or war based i.e. the seguleh and the teblor and none of them particularly seem to value relationships to a great degree past mating and taking advantage of women.

Tiste Liosan, they're still a lot more mysterious than the other races but assuming a similar physiology to the other Tiste peeps they'll be long lived, powerful warriors.
Also they're pretty mental!
There are more reasons but wouldn't want to spoil their appearance in the series to people who aren't that far in

I chose between Tiste Andii and Forkrul Assail. Voted for Tiste Andii -
