Yeah, I'm pretty confident they can put some points on the board, but i'd really like to see the defense tighten up.

50 e-bucks on the Vikings tonight.

Not taking that bet since i think the Vikings will win, but i am gonna root for GB!

I'm wearing a gold t-shirt under a purple polo, and we're heading up to a friend's place after to work to watch the game in HD on the big ol' flatscreen.

Can't wait!
"Here is light. You will say that it is not a living entity, but you miss the point that it is more, not less. Without occupying space, it fills the universe. It nourishes everything, yet itself feeds upon destruction. We claim to control it, but does it not perhaps cultivate us as a source of food? May it not be that all wood grows so that it can be set ablaze, and that men and women are born to kindle fires?"

I need Berrian to get me about 30 points tonight, so I'm gonna be cheering for the Vikes too. Rather than wear a purple shirt, I'm just going to kill a Norwegian and wear his skin. Oh Morgy...

I'm cheering for the Pack, to spite the Minnesota Favres.
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

I dunno why, but when everyone starts cheering against a team I feel an urge to go against the tide. Like here, with the Vikings.

That and it's fun to root for AP.

I'm not cheering against Minnesota. I'm cheering against Brett Favre. If Minnesota wins but Favre has 6 picks, I'll be happy. :)

I can't explain any reason for the spite, other than that he annoys me immensely.

Tbh I was pretty annoyed myself when the news first took place, although it was more that Tarvaris Jackson and the other Vikings QB got strung along all off-season before getting dumped for Favre, who waffled (love that word now haha) for months before making a decision.

Oddly enough, I don't really mind anymore.

No kidding! Favres 2nd TD pass, off his back foot, perfect throw. Amazing! He's still awesome.
I've always been crazy but its kept me from going insane.

Throw more picks Brett! (or a pick that isn't taken away!)

That strip for a fumble was ridiculous. First really bad play I've seen AP make. But, then again, I don't watch the NFC North often.

I clarified. You gotta admit, that was a phantom PI call, however it still would have been negated by the offsides. And, he's also thrown a couple more questionable balls.

I'll shut up, it's probably getting annoying. And, I probably shouldn't take the media out on Brett as much as I am.

Favre could pitch a tent in the backfield right now with the amount of time he's getting. That'll tear up any defense.

Imagine how good Rodgers would be if he wasnt sacked every 4 plays. Jared Allen is having some fun!

Great freaking game. I'm impressed by rodgers composure while being bombarded by the defense. The Packers O line cost them that game, just like they cost them their last loss.

Favre looked great. The packers decided to shuut down Peterson and dare favre to beat them, and he did. The man can still play ball.

Yeah. Between Favre dismantling the GB defense, and Jared Allen shaking up the offense, that was an amazing game.

This is exactly why I was so excited about even the possibility of Favre playing for MN. I'm even giddier about the reality.

M. Crabtree has finally signed with the 49rs.

What do you guys think....will he play at all this season...can he and Singleterry get along?

Braylon Edwards was dealt to N.Y. Jets today. Havent heard for what yet. I hope the Jets didnt give much for Bananhands.

Whoops. I rejected trade before I could comment. I've already got Chris Johnson and a two back not getting touches in J. Stewart, Daser. Sorry. :)

Wrong thread for fantasy stuff HD.

On the Braylon Edwards trade: Apparantly Jets gave C. Stuckey and J. trusnik and an undisclosed draft pick for Bananahands.
