I hope it goes to overtime again!

"We want the ball, and we're going to score!" -Matt Hasselback, shortly before throwing a game losing interception.

Please get it right ! He threw the pick on our second overtime drive :p We were stopped on the first drive by a dodgy spot by the refs and had to punt.

I think this game is much closer than you think and good old Favre will be the guy under pressure !

This Seattle team is a whole lot better than that years and favre is a whole lot older.

Oh and for the record we will get the ball lots and we will score !!!

Ok...my math works like this:

Brett Farve > Matt Hasselback = Pack Win

This is .....

Brett Favre 28 Td = Matt Hasselback 28 Td

No it's .....

Brett Favre 15 Int's > Matt Hasselback 12 Int's

Oh no that's not it, erm ..... no hang on .. err ... oh yeah we've got a back who rushed for a thousand yards so ther... oh no actually we don't .

Let me get this straight...you think THIS Seattle team is MUCH better? Um...Shaun Alexander is done...repeat done....you have no running game...NONE.

I'm not saying the Packers will win by 30 points...but you are definitely the underdog....and the Packers have a running game in Ryan Grant...and are playing at home...

Please don't compare Matt Hasselback with Brett Farve...that dishonors Farve...Matty H is a good QB...but not number 4

If Seattle has NO running game ( and we out rushed the Skins by the way ) then we have to compare the QB's. Yes #4 is a legend but how well has he played the previous 2 years? Yes he is playing better this year but as I showed stats wise they are roughly equal. Hass has played well all year with no running game so nothing has changed. If our front 4 on D can turn up the heat on the old guy then he may start throwing the picks this time! That for me is the key matchup Pack O-Line Vs Hawks D-Line.

Green Bay has a great O-Line. I think it will be a good game but eventually Farve will beat the pass rush/blitz and hit a few big plays.

Green Bay 27----Seattle 17

haha...well Green Bay isn't my team...I'm from Atlanta...but since my QB decided to become a professional dog fighter instead of enjoying a 110 million dollar contract....:p

I live in San Diego right now....but definitely have no faith in Norv Turner...I just have always liked Farve

I read somewhere that Vick lost, mostly in future earnings, somewhere around 150 million dollars over the dog-fighting thing. That's a hell of a hit and probably one of the greatest falls from grace in modern times.
I survived the Permian and all I got was this t-shirt.

It is...I've actually met the guy...and he came off honestly as very humble and likeable...just made some stupid, horrible decisions...and it cost him his life and money...maybe he'll actually come out of prison a better person.....one can hope.

Since I blew the Favre > Hasselback theory out of the water I have tried to find Packers fans some hope.

Regular/Post Season games Vs common opponents GB 4-2 Sea 5-1.

Passing Touchdowns Conceded ..... Seattle league low 15 ... whoops

... but to be balanced Green Bay joint best in league in rushing Td's allowed but as we don't have a running game apparently who cares :D

Ah, but you forget, Matt Hasselback is a HUGE douchebag. You can't underestimate how much that could affect the game. Really, we're talking about a man who gave George Bush a personalized Seahawks jersey. On a side note, his wife is a frosty bitch as well. Also:

Favre: 3 time league mvp, holds most significant qb records, arguably the best ever, or at least top 5.

Hasselback: Is none of these things

Grant was only about 60 yards short of 1000, and he didn't start until about the 7th game of the season. Alexander is soft, overpaid, and well past his already overrated prime.

Packers have a better receivers, across the board. Defense is close, seattle is better vs the run, I would take the pack overall though.

All this considered, I'm not positive we'll win. i expect a close game, and I will be parading around Seattle in my cheesehead and packers clothes all day.

you did no such thing, but nice try :)

I will be shocked if Seattle wins. It will take a Brett Favre MELTDOWN.
Matt H is a HUGE Douche, Raymond is right. His wife is a little bitch/shrew who makes the View even MORE UNWATCHABLE...something I didn't think was possible

Oh, my Buckeyes. Seven personal fouls? Oh well. They were never supposed to be in that game this year. Outclassed, overmatched.

Yikes! That looked like last year. The scary thing is, they might get there next year and get stomped by another SEC team. Georgia.

It will become an annual tradition, Ohio State losing to someone way better....I could live with that.

If only they hadn't lost to Stanford. That automatically disqualifies you for the national championship.

It should've been LSU versus Georgia. Two best teams from the best conference....sorry but all the USC supporters out there...USC plays in a punk conference and LOST TO STANFORD!!! A 40 POINT UNDERDOG.

Oregon would've been there if Dixon wouldn't of gotten hurt though.

the pac10 had an average strength of schedule around 10, the sec had an average strength of schedule around 30 or so. the sec was probably stronger as far as total strength, but the pac10 was still the #2 conference in sagarin ratings and not far behind. pac10 also plays a much harder out of conference schedule and lsu plays NOONE in nonconference games until 2011 when they play colorado of all teams. georgia, florida, and tennessee at least have some good non-conf games, and some of them are away from home(gasp!)

stanford is a conference opponent. conference games are always tough, especially when you're starting qb has a broken finger and your backup has little experience, not to mention the injuries to the defense. they lost the game on the last possession, and also lost to the best team in the country at the time in oregon in a close game. lsu lost to two unranked opponents. evens out, just like georgia and oklahoma(eventhough oklahoma got wasted)

basically, get over yourself until you get a better non conference schedule. conference games are always risky, no matter what conference you're in

There is NO excuse for a team that was being touted as the best college team EVER to lose to Stanford, regardless of it being a conference game and Booty being hurt. With a team that good, favored that big, they should have won no matter who was at QB. Face it, they shit their pants.

I'm not a fan of USC or LSU. I think you have to admit that the SEC is a tougher conference than Pac10 though. Pac 10, like most conferences, had 2 big dogs (usc and oregon) and a bunch of ok teams. Honestly, many years USC is the only quality team in the pac10. Oregon is not usually as good as they were this year. SOmetimes cal has a good season, but generally the dropoff in talent starts to become noticable as soon as you look beyond USC. SEC is more stacked. There are some weak teams in the SEC, but they have a higher concentration of talent and more quality teams.

As tired as I am of hearing about it, the SEC IS the toughest conference in football. True, they might not play the toughest out of conference opponents, but why would they? If you had to play LSU, Auburn, Tennessee, Florida, Georgia, and Arkansas in conference, would you be in a huge hurry to schedule another tough game? Sec teams play more tough games in one year of conference play than USC plays in 3 full years of football.

You want to know who is underrated as a conference? Big 12. Not as tough across the board as SEC, way tougher than pac10.
