The road to Miami, AFC, goes through INDIANAPOLIS!

Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

I think it'll be New England v. Detroit.

I think if Detroit gets about 2 years of good drafts, they will be a good team.

New England is going down down down.

Also, You barely escaped the Ravens the first time. Do you think that after going into NE and beating them they aren't going to be completely physically dominating against a more skill/style Colts team?

I think you have no idea what you are talking about when you talk about the Colts because you bring up terms that described them more than 5 years ago. New England sucks without Welker, and Brady played like complete ass. Spot the Colts field position at the opposing 40 yard line every drive and they put up 50.

View PostH.D., on 13 January 2010 - 08:02 PM, said:

You do realize the Colts fumbled on the three yard line, right? You do realize that the Colts held the Ravens to under a hundred yards on 30 rushes, right? You do realize the Colts are 7-2 against the Ravens, right? You do realize, that against teams that blitz five players or more, Peyton Manning's career QB rating is over 100 right? You do realize the Ravens are one dimensional right? You do realize the Colts won that game you are basing your opinion on, right? You do realize that three or more is a trend, right? And that 7 therefore is a massive fucking trend, right?

Stick to the NFC.

Edit: This is why I just bitch and moan here. I HATE talking about my team on off Colts sites. Apologies for the arrogance.

20 - 3, Colts. Who's more "physically dominant"? The Ravens D is great. The Colts TEAM is excellent.

Not much to say about this game but 2 things. The Colts are just better. And Ray Lew is got FUCKED on that helmet to helmet at the end of the first half.

It was good to see the Saints team from the first 13 games this season show up instead of the one that one the last 3. If their offense is clicking they can beat anyone.

You can't lead with your helmet. It's in the rules. Lewis went helmet to helmet with Collie. That's a no-no. Playing smart is just as important as playing well.

Well, I'm more than pleased by both results from yesterday, and I wish I was about 90 miles south of here to enjoy the festivities in the French Quarter. I'm figuring with Mardi Gras on the way and at least one more playoff game , the party's gonna be going full steam for at least a month. For today, GO JETS, and I'm hoping Favre can hang on and beat the Cowboys, although when it comes down to Vikings vs. Saints, well...Favre may be the hometown hero, but the Saints have never been to the Super Bowl, gonna have to root against him.

I'm definitely tempted to head to London in October to watch the 49ers game should be a good laugh. Off round my mates tonight to watch Vikings vs Cowboys.

I agree, except that he lead with the top of his shoulder instead of his helmet.

Minnesota is looking good. NFC Championship should be an amazing game.

Freakin' A that was great. Minnesota defence DOMINATED and the Cowboys never really showed up. Started to watch the Chargers/Jets game but then the guy who was giving me a lift had to get back. The Chargers were 7-0 last I saw, beginning of the 2nd quarter. Vikings/Chargers final please. :pirate:

Minnesota New Orleans is gonna be a cracking game, both teams dominated in this round and looks like a good match up. I actually fancy the Vikings to win this one, I think their D will be good enough to help squeak it.

Can I ask, how comes some players have a "C" logo with a few stars under it on their jerseys? Is it a probowl thing?

They are the team Captains. Amount of colored stars are for how many years. They've been there for 3 years.

Well I "registered my interest" to buy tickets for the NFL London game. My friend went last year and really enjoyed it, though he paid £75 per ticket, and that was for not the best seats in the game... Still would be great to go. :pirate:

I cant decide if i'm more impressed with the Jets or unimpressed with the Chargers, who just looked like they never showed up. But I guess you have to credit the Jets D for that.

I tell ya what, its true every year, a strong defense and running game can win you games in the playoffs.

I'm just afraid the Jets are gonna get their asses handed to them by the Colts.

I give it to you HD, I was wrong about the Colts/Ravens game.

I don't think Lewis should have been called for that helmet to helmet, since he was diving and the colts player (Garcon?) but his head down into Lewis' helmet.

Vikings did about what I expected, the problem is that they are much better at home than on the road. If they can bring that kind of Defensive pressure, I don't think the Saints will be able to do anything about it.

The question I have, is did Dallas just not show up, or are the Vikings just that much better?

I'm hoping for a Jets vs Vikings superbowl, as the Vikings should have no real trouble with the Jets. However, I would imagine it will be a Colts vs Vikings, although the Jets might injure a couple key Colts players.

I'd bet on a little bit of both.
"Here is light. You will say that it is not a living entity, but you miss the point that it is more, not less. Without occupying space, it fills the universe. It nourishes everything, yet itself feeds upon destruction. We claim to control it, but does it not perhaps cultivate us as a source of food? May it not be that all wood grows so that it can be set ablaze, and that men and women are born to kindle fires?"
