Neither Ganoes or Rake make an appearance in this novel. Their most likely return will be in Toll the Hounds as it takes place in their vicinity...or at least Rake should return in Toll the Hounds...Ganoes and his Host could be anywhere right now, being Master of the Deck and all.

Rake is in the prologue. Briefly. And Ganoes is mentioned, in his capacity of Master of the Deck. That's about it.

Both may be in RotCG. And I would suspect that they are either there or in TtH, especially Anomander Rake who should play a vital role given how certain plot lines of Reaper's Gale turned out but as always there is room for manoeuvre.

Well, given the Errant basically declares war on Ganoes without even knowing him, I'd say it's a fair assumption that we'll be seeing more of the Master of the Deck.
Ditto for Anomander with whatsisface with the linked coins running around with cruel intent towards the son of darkness...

If the Errant can bring his A game, it seems that Mael implied bitch slapping him at the end of RG, like he did the Crippled God.

Oh, and isn't he (the errant) in for a neat surprise. Can't miss that one.

Gods who piss Paran off seem to have a tendency to end up vulnerable and/or eaten by large hounds: see Poliel, Oponn.
That said, Rake, to the best of my knowledge, has not pissed Paran off.
- Abyss, prefers to remain undigested.

Indeed. I can just imagine the Errant fooling round with wordings like 'mere mortal' and 'my game' in front of Ganoes. I almost feel sorry for the bastard...NOT! Not even close.
hehehe
