ah but would one have to break the sword "in" Hood's warren for that to occur, effectively delivering those souls "in stasis" to him?

Well, inside his warren or not, it's not like he can get them whilst they're inside the sword, is it?

Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

I dunno bit crazy , just a thought though.

I like that. Imagine one massive unstopable soul for Hood to claim once it's done it's job of ending the CG? Or could it be possible that the Warren within the sword would shatter and fragment all the souls within it? Could be an unknowable even Draconus gets wrong!!

It could be possible that many of those souls are released to an Azath house, which would be able to contain them. But the other question is that Draconus wants to get out alive, and not move from one Prison to another, therefore it will be interesting to see how that will be achieved.

Paran jumps in Dragnipur, Karsa/Rake/whoever (Withal?) breaks sword, Paran grabs Draconus and jumps out?

Rake or whoever stabs the Chained/Fallen/Whiny God WITH Dragnipur, and before his soul shifts into the warren, breaks it.

Everything relevant explodes/implodes/dissolves. The end.

Hell it's even easier than that, tell Draconus to jump into the Kurald Galain opening under the wagon were the chains lead. Then have Rake pull him out of the big pool of Darkness' and say: "Sorry about that, old bean, you're free again, sorry I poked you with your own sword, no hard feeling, ay?"

I'm sure that would be a grand reunion
