Pearl- Toppers son/Grandson?

Pearl is 1/4 tiste andii and claims that his grandmother was a beauty from Drift Avalii. In GOTM topper states that hes half tiste andii.

So is there a link? there both in th claw both very good assasins. im not saying this means they are related but its a bit odd we have the correct fractions of blood (whether they are correct) for father and son. so any relation?

Thoughts?

Pearl was described as Topper's favourite leuitenant in DG, before the Kalam debacle - I think if there was a blood relationship it would've been mentioned then.

yes i admit it should have been mentioned but the ties of blood seem incredibly odd. i know the relationships seem professional but it would have to be. i mean they coudnt be all thanks dad dont mention it son could they? they would be professional about it. like say you worked with your dad. at work there would be no hugs and stuff would there

true but it wouldh ave been stuff for gossip and kalam or otehrs would have mentioned it.. i guess since it was not mentioned it is not true..

otherwise pearl should be a little upset when topper was reported missing in the imperial warren and he give nthe position of clawmaster

i dont think they would have been that upset. i just thought id put it out there as it sees odd that 2 people who have the same very unique blood triait are in the same organisation.
