OK so I know this thread came up in the Inn a few months ago, but I was listening to a couple of albums I hadn't heard in a while and something about the lyrics struck me. Check out these two songs and see if they could perhaps be used as a theme song for the Bridgeburners. ;)
And if anyone wants the songs, let me know and I can send em to ya! :D

Demon Hunter - Not Ready To Die Taken from the Album Summer of Darkness
You've got a lot of nerve and I've got a lot of fingers to point
While you were busy building knowledge I was already right
I know a voice like yours is not a weapon at all
And even mine is not a chisel for a thickened skull
So you can chant your anthems to the deaf
And we can sit here and cry until there's nothing left
Or we can take our voices with our hands
Make like knives and make demands
We'll take our voices - with our hands
Make like knives - we'll make demands

I'm burning bridges for the last time
I'm breaking habits for the first time

I saw my future today, it said I'm going away
But I still haven't sung the last line
On my way down..

I'm not ready to lay, not ready to fade
I'm not ready to die

And everyday of my life I can feel it getting harder to breathe
With every minute ticking by I'm getting ready to leave
I know a life like mine is not a reason to fret
But I've been busy making scars that you will never forget
If only thirty three years can save my life
I've had twenty three more to make things right
So when I'm taken to the sky and you're still here
You can clear your mind and dry your tears
When I'm taken home - and you're still here
Just clear your mind - dry your tears

I'm burning bridges for the last time
I'm breaking habits for the first time

I saw my future today, it said I'm going away
But I still haven't sung the last line.
On my way down..

I'm not ready to lay, not ready to fade
I'm not ready to die

When I'm taken home - and you're still here
Just clear your mind - dry your tears
We'll take our voices - with our hands
Make like knives - we'll make demands

I'm not ready to lay, not ready to fade
I'm not ready to die.
------------------------------------------------------
And here's the second song (personally the one I feel fits better):
Haste the Day - Blue 42 Taken from the Album Burning Bridges
Burning Bridges Burning Bridges
Shut Myself Off From The World
Burning Bridges Burning Bridges
Shut Myself Off From Life

As The Ashes Fall As The Ashes Fall
Through The Fire Through The Flame
As The Ashes Fall As The Ashes Fall
Through The Fire Through The Flame

Life Purified Again
I Won't Look Back
To The Chains That Bound Me
I Won't Look Back
To The Chains That Bound Me

I Will Lay to Rest My Ghosts
And Cover My Footsteps
I Will Stand Up Straight And Walk Away
Leaving Them Far Behind.
A Haunting Poem
I Scream
You Scream
We all Scream
For I Scream.

Nifty Tiste. I like this idea. I like the second song except for its repetition, and I like the 1st song but it's too long...
If I had to choose, I think the 2nd one, being simpler, and maybe even something you could march to.

I dunno if you could march to it... if you heard the song... :(
Hang on, I'll get it uploaded and post a link to the song on here... :)

I have the song. Here we are, see what you think Clicking on the image (from the front cover of the Burning Bridges album - could be Sorry?) will give you the song, hopefully...

Just listened to the "Bridgeburners" song as per your link. My mistake was to have unwittingly had the volume control set at near maximium, two things happened almost simultaneously:

A. The cat, which was sitting on my lap at the time, bolted head first into (the closed) patio door.

B. My girlfirend dropped a bottle of white wine onto the kitchen floor (the kitchen is two rooms away) smashing said bottle.

Much to my dismay I will now, in the interest of possibly getting my leg over, have to drive 5 miles to buy a new bottle of wine (well, two) and upon my return have to find Monty the cat, which has bolted at high speed into the undergrowth, once said patio door had been opened.

I, it must be said currently wiping tears of laughter from my eyes, suggest a public health warning be issued against the "music" being played at high volume or indeed any volume.

I am sorry yet highly amused by your adventures due to Bridgeburners theme tune. As requested, here is a health warning.

Don't play it loud unless you like heavy stuff, or you want to scare the old woman who lives next door to you.

Sorry that the loud music ruined your chances with anything that might have otherwise happened... :(

To be honest I'm worried about the Cat, it's not been the same since it belted into the patio door. The girly I'll come round when she want's something.

I am quite sorry for bringing up such an old thread (I know how annoying it can be.), but when I read this topic my player flipped to a song that seems to fit even better.

Its called Anti-Hero by God Forbid:

Send us to die across the seas
Where it’s told we want to deceive
Send us (Send us)
So far from home
Empty hearts want to believe (Believe)
The fight is for humanity
Send us so far from home
From home

Look at yourself (Look at yourself)
Heroic state of existence
Patriot in your mind
Look around you, the world is caving in
Patriot in your mind
Victim of life (Victim of life)
The antihero (The antihero)
Torn between right and wrong
The antihero (Antihero)

Black, white and dead all over
Black, white and dead all over
Black, white and dead all over

Victim of life (Victim of life)
The antihero (The antihero)
Torn between right and wrong
The antihero (Antihero)

When does the war against war begin?
When does the war against war begin?
When does the war against war begin?
When does the war against war begin?

anything by dragon force should work:P
STORMING THE BURNING FIELDS

Bursting through the fires avenging
Fatal warning battles are raging
Power of darkness rise for the fight
We'll be strong and stand our ground

Death is all around us and my heart is beating weaker
Fight the day with power of immortal souls arise
Fire in our hearts the evil rages on forever more
Burning until the battle rage is gone

Through damnation we rise, sign of the times
Master of bleeding eyes
Thunder on high, look to the sky
You never gonna take us down!

And we will crush the evil standing
On the temple in the fire storming
We fly beyond the lost horizons high!
Heroes of the night are calling
See the promised land is falling
Reaching for the powers deep inside
On through the night

Blinded by the hate and desire
Burning in your heard like a fire
Challenging all the suffer and fear
Our horizons take control

Blood spills all around us and our enemies draw nearer
Sacrifice your life to have them carry you away
Take us to the place of death and carry on forever more
Burning on the dreams of memories long gone!

And you'll die for your crimes, sign of the times
Master of endless lies
Fight to the end, now we ascend
Together we will take them down!

And we will crush the evil standing
On the temple in the fire storming
Fly beyond the lost horizons high!
Heroes of the night are calling
See the promised land is falling
Reaching for the powers deep inside
On through the night

How about the Celine Dion song from Titanic? "Everynight in my dreams, I see you, I heeeeeaaaaaaar youuuuu, that is how I know you go onnnnnnn."" Sorry, that's a terrible thing to say, even as a joke. Please don't hate me.
