Hi guys!

Don't know if this has been discussed before. . .

While reading my notes on both MEMORIES OF ICE and HOUSE OF CHAINS, a thought occurred to me. I have a hunch that Baudin is the new Knight of Death that we encountered when Coll and Murillio delievered the Mhybe to Hood's temple.

We first see the knight in chapter 21 of MoI, where we discover that he doesn't remember his name or who he is. But what he vaguely remembers could well be attributed to Baudin (the warren of fire, etc).

And in chapter 16 of HoC, when they come upon the place of his death, Pearl reveals to Lostara Yil that Hood himself came to claim Baudin's body. And again, there is mention of the warren of fire. . .

This is just a gut feeling, but the more I think about it the more I think I could be on to something. Granted I have yet to finish MT and TB, so perhaps light has already been shed on this mystery.

No, that's all the info there is on The Knight of Death.

More discussions on Baudin, the last one is the most significant one. Using the search function might bring up some more info. Cheers.

BTW when is your ICE interview?

Ah damn. . .

All my detective work instantly down the crapper! I never read the glossary for fear of spoilers. Case in point, if ever there was one! Odd that SE would include this in the glossary, though. . .

ICE is presently answering the questions. He emailed me last week for some clarifications on a question, so he's working on the interview as we speak.:)
