Come on people, the death of Felisin was not the exchange for Hood, for any number of reasons. It was clearly the father, I don't see why people doubt this.

Felisin was not "insignificant", she didn't die around the time Paran was resurrected, she was not under Hood or Oponn's influence in any way.

Most likely one of his parents, yes. I'm surprised, though, that noone has mentioned his mother yet. After all, her death seems, from what we've seen of it, to fit better. True, there isn't much in the books about it, but to me she seems more likely. I mean, Tavore mentions their father's failing health in GotM, but we don't hear anything of that sort about their mother.

It's heavily implied the mother killed herself after the father died, I think the phrase is "chose to join him". It's true, you could argue she was the other death, the father just seems right to me, from the suggestion the victim would already be close to death. Although you could argue that was the mother, since she would've been close to the dying father...

No matter, it was clearly the parents who formed the other part of the bargain.
