Compliments on the good choice, Bob. Great character. Hairlock really made the book.

I'm just rereading it for the fifth(?)time, and my favourites (tough choice!) are:
Raest - he really prods some buttock
Rallick Nom - and his quest for one last act of humanity
Rake - obviously...
The Hounds - just love the puppies

It looks like I am the only one, when I say:
Circle Breaker.
Because of closer unidentified reasons this guy is my idol.

All hail Erikson
Exactly! Like with Memories of Ice. When I got to that book after the break from the Bridgeburners and company in Deadhouse Gates, it was like a reunioun with old friends for me when they were re-introduced in Memories of Ice.

Tayschrenn - He's actually one of my favorites for the entire series thus far. Here's hoping he gets more stage time at some point

Kruppe, Anomander Rake and especially Quick Ben, but I think I'm influenced by the following books
Ups, I forgot Onos Tool'an (Tool is such a strange name

I did a search, couldn't find anything about favorite characters in this forum, maybe I missed it, but I thought I'd post this one, if there is another and you know where it is, bump it up and the mod can delete this, but I couldn't find one, so whose your favorite character?
Personally I have to go with Sorry.

i'd have to say that my fav character is Paran, and then Anomander Rake just because of his sheer power. I like Paran because he is like the only guy in the story thaz not incredibly old except for Crokus.

Rallick Nom for his single mindedness and sense of duty and loyalty.
Whiskeyjack for his ability to keep Kalam and quick ben in check through sheer power of command.
Kalam, quick ben, fiddler for obvious reasons.
Cowl for just being able to toy with Serrat.
Dujek Onearm and older version of Whiskeyjack and someone Tays obviously steps around rather than on as is his usaul wont.
Lorn i thought she was a complex character who should not have been killed off so soon.

All hail Erikson!
I love the way, when you read the later books, you come back to these characters, and it's like being reunited with an old friend.
