And could Rud Ellale get an aspected warren?

Good point, Illuyankas. Makes one wonder if that is (one of ?) Menandore's motivation(s) for conceiving Rud...

"I am Eloth, Mistress of Illusions, Meanas to you - and Mockra and Thyr. A shaper of the blood. All that K'rull asked of I have done."
"I am Ampelas, who shaped the blood in the Paths of Emurlahn. The sorcery wielded by the Edur was born of my will."
tBH p.51

Somehow the dragons used K'rulls blood to shape the warrens.

Or the other way round .... the blood/arteries were there... the sorcery fed into those paths... creating order from chaos. :)

Thought the reference is pretty clear that they used his blood to shape, not to put order to something. K'rul's blood is not chaotic, it already contained SD & KG.

Is it possible that Krul had in him all the warrens already but in a 'chaotic' form.

It makes sense that he had all the holds/warrens in him in the first place and asked the dragons to 'shape' it or put them in order.
Imagine 10 people in a room. everyone will just go where they wish to in the room. (chaotic)
than the dragons comes along and tells them that they cant pass this point and thus can only move in their own area with in the room (order)
this kinda makes sense to me, and it does go in hand in hand with what the dragons said of how they shaped the blood of krul etc...

I think it makes sense that K'rul merely shaped the holds/warrens out of what was already there, imposing order on chaos. With regards to Kurald Galain and Starvald Demelain they may have existed before the warrens but not as warrens themselves, K'rul perhaps just shaped them into warrens to help create the others.

The form of SD and KG before the Shaping of K'rul?

SD = the Dragon Hold
KG = Hold of Darkness, if there is such a thing, don't remember a mention in MT?
