Mal, reckon you might have some tough matches against Artmedia Bratislava then? I heard they had an easy run in the qualifying rounds...
Mind you, wheres a Hearts fan when we need one? I guess its unlikely we'll find one of the seven here though

Surely we cannot be beaten by that mob 5-0?
*Thinks on Sturday's 3-0 battering on Saturday from Hibs*
Err..maybe we can. Still, we should be ready for an empty San Siro. It'll just be like playing away in the Scottish league. No fans.

i think so from what ive seen he has the basic skills to go far, has a decent attitude (in that he doesnt want to manage his own career while knowing nothing about managing a career - audley) and more importantly has an awful lot of time on his side. he could get it wrong 3 times and still have time to get it right. i think at worst he could be compared to hamed, but audleys far too harsh

Page 18? 18?! You should be ashamed! You should all be ashamed!
In today's news (or yesterdays news), 'pool beat chelski at old trafford, sending them to the FA cup final against either middlesbrough or west ham (basically a walkover ...knock on wood). After the match Murinho stated that he couldn't wish Liverpool good luck in the final, but he will wish them good luck in the CL qualifyer. Talk about sore looser!

I'd love West Ham to win the Cup, but if Boro get there, I'll certainly be supporting the Pool. Mind you, I'm too caught up in the battle for 4th in the league to worry about it that much. Just praying to all the gods I've ever heard of that either Villareal or Barca do the job on ARSEnal in the CL...

Luiz Felipe Scolari has withdrawn from the race to become England coach after complaining about the media intrusion into his life.
"I will not be the next England coach," he said. "I was one of numerous candidates. I will be the Portugal coach until the end of the World Cup."
He added: "Last night there were 20 reporters outside my house. I don't like this pressure so I will definitely not be coach of England."

Damned understandable, that english press is cruel. And it's not just when it goes bad for the team, but also whenever it goes well. They just love trudging people down in the dirt.

I think he said he didn't want to a while ago. But if it does end up with him the english press is going to rip him to pieces before, during and after his period. It'll be the worst career choice the man has ever made.

Tough luck there, Stian. I was rooting for you all the way, mostly because I'm hoping Henry goes this summer. In any case, I suspect foul play from Arsenal. It just seems too damned convenient for it to be an accident.

*sobs quietly into blanky* Ah well, it's still our best finish since the premiership was established, and it bodes well for future seasons. If we had to fail to get intot the champions league then I'd prefer it this way than ARSEnal beating Barca in the CL final, thats for sure... Though Teddy did his best to help us by missing that penalty, bless him:)
