Nah, no subscription fee... but be prepared for possible problems getting the damn thing to work online (if you have a router, anyway).

Before you can play online, you'll need to get hold of the official Konami 1.1 patch from somewhere (prolly their site), and there's a useful 3rd party program that helps you find an opponent called pes4online since there are no official Konami servers for the PC. Once done, give me a shout :D

This pes4online automatically changes your online rosters to a standard set (from the last transfer window) to prevent cheating/changing stats... if want to have the same rosters offline, have a search for something called Wolf Patch 3.1

Anyway... :D

Is it a rar file? If so, you need a program called WinRar (google for it)... this basically allows you to unpack the original file into a folder somewhere.

Once you've done that, the Wolf patch comes with a readme file... READ IT!! :D You don't need to run the files you find in there, you just need to copy and paste them, and the readme explains all of it.

Any probs, give me a shout.

COME ON MAN U!!

Ahem. Ok, now that's out of my system... predictions for today, people? Predictions for the season?

We have Everton V Man U and Boro V Liverpool... biggest games of the day, I believe. @brood - heard Davids is out for Spurs' first game - here's betting that becomes a regular feature... :D

I predict 2-1 to Man Utd, 3-1 to Liverpool.

Aston Villa v Bolton, away win
Fulham v Birmingham, away win
Man City V West Brom, home win
Portsmouth V Spurs, draw
Sunderland V Charlton, home win
West Ham V Blackburn, hmmm draw

I'm tipping Utd for the FA Cup, and to come second in the league to Chelski.

very happy with the boys today, i know its early but i just got one of those feelings about the champions league this season, i reckon it might come home. premiership will be much closer than last season between chelski obviously, utd and the pool, arsenal are going to struggle (in your face wenger) :D

I read that Ole is fit already but they don't want to rush him.

Doubt we'd see that much of Ole this season anyway, even without his injuries he's nowhere near the player he was four years ago. Should be looking for a new forward at the end of this season if Saha continues not to impress.

i dont know mate ole was never a pace or physical player was he, ole was all about instinct and finishing which id say are the last things to lose through injury so i reckon he could surprise us when he comes back, i hope he does i bloody love that guymakes you ashamed to have mercenaries like rio at the club

Falco said:

Ahhh Michael Clarke, Damien Martyn and Simon Katich. Thanks for having us at Lords guys, its been fun and we love to pla- win here. And of course, Pigeon's 500th wicket was a nice highlight too.

Back to the sport of gentlemen: You haven't mentioned The Ashes since Egdebaston, Falco! Feeling a bit nervous? :D Could be an interesting Sunday and Monday!!

Shane Warne has bitch tits. I don't get how he can hit 90 runs, and actually run them all.

Incentive for him to hit fours and sixes, then he doesn't have to run anywhere

I felt so sorry for Wigan yesterday. I thought they really deserved the draw (they could have won it too, but I think nerves hampered their strike attempts).

For Chelsea to steal it like that in the dying seconds... harsh, very harsh.

That said, it was a beauty of a goal, and was well needed by Crespo to get his mindset right for the coming season. Well played to him.

It takes something special for even Mourinho to say that Chelsea didn't deserve to win... a truly excellent performance by Wigan. However, matches like that were never gonna be important ones. They've got West Brom, West Ham and Sunderland all coming up soon. They're the matches they'll need to win to stay up...

I always thought West Ham belonged in the premiership. If that second half performance was anything to go by, they'll have no problem staying up. I predict Portsmouth to be bottom, then Sunderland, then Wigan.

When Davids is fit, we're sorted. A really good sqaud this season, with strength in depth. Routledge, Davids, Carrick and Reid across the middle, King and Dawson in the middle of a solid defense, and Defoe, Keano and Mido causing havok up front. SORTED:D:D:D

And I hear Chelsea have now agreed a deal for Essien. Another multi-million pound signing who will sit on the bench all season. Ah well, at least Wright-Phillips will have company...

You should all support a real football team like Palace.

We're second botom of the Championship. Shows if you're a real fan if you still turn up to watch rubbish like that
