Well, given that Osserc is the "Lord of the Sky" or whatever, and "Serc" is the Path of the Sky, and that Osserc's home warren seems to be KT...could Serc be a derivative of KT, just as Thyr is?

And maybe this is answered post-HOC (a place to which I haven't gotten yet), but how are Father Light and Osserc related? Same person? Son, making Father Light L'oric's grandfather?

It's not really a spoiler in any way, just not taking any chances, but to answer your question: apparently

Osric is indeed the child of Father Light, as Rake is the son of Mother Dark. It seems that, just as Rake has no father, Osric has no mother (I try not to think too deeply on that one). So I suppose L'oric is FL's grandson, but it seems FL and MD are not so much people as concepts or entities, so don't expect any reunions.
