Adaptation? To film? TV?

Looks a lot like the cover I saw of the series back in the late 80s. Probably UK edition.

Interesting ...

Hi Sombra my friend, adaption to graphic novels, just as we did for George R.R. Martin's The Hedge Knight, please check it out on amazon:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/097640110...glance&n=283155

Thanks for your feedback, I really appreciate it.

Below is the sketch of Napoleon, who appears in Red Prophet. Mr. Card explained to me that as Napoleon is really young in Red Prophet and still has a long way to go before he becomes Emperor that his uniform should be less elaborate, so in the graphic adaptation you'll notice the uniform changed from what you see below, enjoy and please feel free to give your feedback ;)

Morgoth my friend, the Alvin Maker series are based on an alternate early America where folk magic really works. If you ever get a chance to read the books you should, they are fantastic.

Valgard my friend, I'm happy that you like the sketches, if you get a chance to pick up Red Prophet from a public library you can read it and get to know the characters a little better  I hope that I can also persuade you to look at the graphic adaptation when it is released as well :)

Here is a sketch of Bill Harrison. One thing that Scott told us is that during this time period no one really carried guns on them like cowboys, because they mostly carried their muskets in the back of their wagons most of the time, so the gun belt will go in the adaptation ;) Enjoy

Interesting. The style seems Mangaesque. Or maybe a bit too much like Michael Turner's work.Lets hope the adaptation retains the tone of the books.
If an opinion contrary to your own makes you angry, that is a sign that you are subconsciously aware of having no good reason for thinking as you do. If some one maintains that two and two are five, or that Iceland is on the equator, you feel pity rather than anger, unless you know so little of arithmetic or geography that his opinion shakes your own contrary conviction. … So whenever you find yourself getting angry about a difference of opinion, be on your guard; you will probably find, on examination, that your belief is going beyond what the evidence warrants. Very good point Stone Monkey my friend. The artist who does the sketches drew them in five minutes in order to get a sense of the clothes and look of the characters, but the actual artist on the book retains more of the tone of the books :)

Here are some more sketches, enjoy :)
