Well, I posted. Maybe didn't have to but...
Btw, shouldn't the writings be secret? I mean, anyone can draw inspiration from what's already been posted and the last will be th best...

Personally I'd prefer the entries to be submitted by email, and submitted for judging with no names on them so that the judging process is entirely fair. Then after the panel has decided on the winner(s) post all the entries up for people to look at.
It's up to Hetan though, shes organising it.

Only 500 words? Wow... that's ambitious... I shall no doubt do that when I have finished my essays for next week!

A Haunting Poem
I Scream
You Scream
We all Scream
For I Scream.
I Scream
You Scream
We all Scream
For I Scream.

Hmmm, posted mine. Strange how a little boredom can get you really carried away. Haven't written properly in ages so be kind dear judges.

Discarded interpretative dance format due to logistics of posting to forum. And sprained limbs.
Entry posted. Fingers crossed.

Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.
