I just started "Last Argument Of Kings". Here's hoping its as brilliant as previously stated.

I also read a few chapters of Small Favors by Jim Butcher, exciting first chapter I must say.

Started reading that yesterday morning, but realised that I don't remember enough details from the previous books in the series, which means I'll have to re-read them first. Wasn't in the mood for that, so I've picked up Temeraire again :o

I am 30 pages from the end of Memories of Ice, and I will then begin Chain of Dogs :o yay

I also finished life, the universe and everything the other day, and two books form work. Woot :o

She means House of Chains. She kept calling Memories of Ice Midnight Tides too :o

I'm in the middle of my MBotF reread. I just read books 1-5 for the second time. This weekend, I'll be finishing my first read of Night of Knives. After that, I've got The Bonehunters held for me at the library, and after that, hopefully I'll be able to check out Reaper's Gale (which I haven't read yet.)

In a Time of Treason by David Keck. I really thought Keck turned it up several notches in his second installment. And I don't know who or what compares him to Terry Goodkind or Robert Newcomb....but uh...no....they are nothing alike.

Is Keck the next big thing? I was thinking after my Malaz reread and ThH I'd go Abercrombie, but am open to other ideas.

Keck causes divided opinions, I think. But Abercrombie is better, I think most would agree:)

I like them both, two very different styles.

Abercrombie is definitely more of a "sure thing" for you RLY, but I'd recommend Keck if you're feeling adventurous.

I'm about to pick up the "Books of the South" Omnibus by Glen Cook. Can't wait.
