Okay So I just finished book of the New Sun by Gene Wolfe.
Im now wondering what to read now.
Between my birthday and christmass I got "The Motorcycle diarys" -Che Guarva(?), "Good Omens", "Neverwhere" - Neil Gaimen, "The Black company" Glen cook, "THe years of rice and salt" - Kim stanly Robinson, "Perdido street station" - China Meivelle, "Enders Game" "Speaker for the Dead" "Xeonicide" - Orson Scott Baker, "Tigana" - Guy Gavirial Kay, "Tales of the Dying Earth" - Jack Vance, "Endyminion" - Dan Simmons, "Farenheit 451" - Ray Bradbury, "DaVinci Code" - Dan Brown.
I do also however have 80 pages left in Pride and Prejudice, I started this book in March since then I finished MT and Book of the New sun, Its a good book thats for sure but can be a little slow at times and definately requires a fairly good attention span.
What should I read now ?
So What did you get for Christmass ?
As per Topic what are you reading/finshed ?

Quicksilver Rising by Stan Nicholls. Re-reading actually. I finally got my hands on the sequel Quicksilver Zenith and it was so long since I read the original I felt a re-read was in order.

@Murrin: don't worry about the Gap. This Day All Gods Die (the fifth one) is the best one of the cycle, easily.
Finished:
Red Mars by Kim Stanley Robinson. Very realistic and fairly good character development. Luckily I have the rest of the trilogy already on my shelf.
The World of null-A by A.E. van Vogt. A supposedly classic novel from the 'gold age of SF' but I found it to be a mediocre spy story (especially Bourne Identity comes to mind, with the memory loss and all, but of course this book is way older) with some very stupid mistakes and lacking worldbuilding. And obviously it's very dated in technological sense.
Schismatrix Plus by Bruce Sterling. A very good writing style and out-there technology. But bland characters and a bit to episodic in plot. Th short stories promised of Sterling more but still very enjoyable.
Now reading: Interface. Stephenson s really great, again (doh!). Have to try & find a copy of Cobweb somewhere, too.

I read Grisham's The Summons last night. Typical Grisham in a way, but we didn't get to see all the cunning moves the smart guy was making so that sucked a tad. And it was a mite predictable as I worked out what was going on fairly early...
oh, well, it is an exeat weekend so all the kids left at lunch and I'll be skiving off shortly - which means I can spend all afternoon hunting down books at the various stores around town. I heard a rumour that Song of Susannah is finally available - hell yeah!

Just finished 1984. An unexpected great read.
Probabley going to read Neuromancer or a Lovecraft novel.
Not too long till Dark Tower 7 is out, I'm going to wait till the 7th is out before reading Song of Susannah.

rading Market Forces by Richard Morgan
Everything you would expect from Morgan, though it lacks something in comparison to Altered Carbon. The politics are more open here, which probably is a suggestion to Loose nbot to read (the guy shares a little with Mieville's world view).
Looking forward to the w/e and real reading timew

Stopped reading Legend by David Gemmell. Not that it was bad but there was just nothing to really keep me reading.
Now rereading black rain by masuji ibuse. No book beats that one for intensity.
"Read A Walk in The Woods"
For a second the i thought someone else had actually read Lake of the Woods. Oh well... you should.
"The Lord of the Flies (William Golding) Entertaining but frankly I didn''t see what the big deal is about (also, the post-World War 3 setting was really weird, imho)"
I had to read this for school. I think he went WAAAAY overboard with the symbolism so much that he forgot to tell the story in an interesting way. Awful.
